I had my first miscarriage at 13 weeks followinf surgery for a twisted ovary. I was over joyed to discover I was pregnant again a few weeks ago. I am currently 7 1/2 weeks along and my husband and I have been refraining from sex because I have ha some light brown spotting. Yesterday morning I masturbated after my husband left for work (sorry TMI!) I went to the washroom right after and there was a gushing of bright red blood and several large clots. There was so much bleeding and tissue that I was shocked when the doctor said later that day that he could still see the sac and a heartbeat. I am still passing clots but now they are brown. Is there any chance for this pregnancy? I feel so guilty. I was so excited and never dreamt this could happen. Thank you.

Don't beat yourself up about this...rejoice that there is still a baby growing in there!
Ask your doctor if it is safe for you to have sex, as well as are you considered to be high risk due to the other miscarage? Take it easy and I would wait for the ok before I had sex agian.

The same thing happned to me..but it wasn't becuase I masturbated...The dr. explained that the orgasm caused my uterus to contract, which caused the pregnancy to spontaneously abort. My HCG was already on the way down so, it was just a matter of time..but to tell the truth..I doubt it was your fault. You just had surgery to correct an issue w/ your ovary..It's more likely that your condition caused you to miscarry, as opposed to you masturbating. Talk to your dr. about your condition, talk to a reproductive endocrinologist. I have PCOS & I have had 2 miscarriages as well. I don't have a problem becoming pregnant..I have an issue holding the pregnancy in...& becuase of that..I'm under medication. Your best bet would be to recover from this situation. My dr. told me not to get pregnant for at least 6months to a yr (in order to give my body time to recover)...& during that time, I should reform my diet, get on a fitness regime & try to live as heathily as possible. Talk to your dr. hun & don't balme yourself...Sometimes..it's just not meant to be. Keep in touch!!! & Good luck!!!

Abortion can end up leaving serious consequences that at your young age you cant even comprehend yet. I had abortions in my past, 6 years ago and now that I have my first child it has given me a new prospective. I am depressed and upset that there is nothing I can do to change the past. IT KILLS ME and I pray that you wont be irresponsible as I. Have your baby. If you cant take care of it there are people you can reach out to. I wish someone warned me of the emotional aftermath of an abortion. Dont do it!!!

You know....Nobody put you in the situation that you are in. In my opinion...You need to be taught a lesson. Little girls should play w/ Barbies!!! It upsets me to see spoiled undisciplined children like you getting themselves into stupid brain dead situations like this one....Did you not bother to think about what could happen? Do you even know what an abrotion is? Eitherway...it doesn't matter & we are all wasting time giving advice to someone like you, who doesn't know how to wipe her rear end properly yet but feels the need to play "House." Educate yourself...Grow a brain...& once you do that..then have sex becuase the last thing this world needs is another irresponsible person walking around.

I know what you mean. More and more young girls are scared on these sites. DIdnt anyone teach them anything? I thought they took health in high school? i would take that post you typed before and post it on the other pregnancy site we go on. But then again, do they really care what two old "losers" have to say anyway? lol. I mentor teens sometimes and I beat abstinance in their brains. Where are the parents? My parents taught me morals, but sometimes I guess parents teach it, but the child gets caught up in pressure or passion. Sigh.

I answered you on another site more in depth, but will give you really short version here in case you miss it. Just relax, enjoy it, and have sex every other day all month long and then you dont have to worry about missing your fertile time in case your cycle changes and you dont know it. Takes an average of 3-6 mths to conceive and unless something is wrong with you, its pretty easy to get pregnant. Dont stress out cuz it will delay it for you. Cut out caffeine to a minimum now and take prenatal vitamins and eat healthy like you are already pregnant and make sure your man avoids potato chips as they have a chemical in the oil that imobilizes sperm. Good luck.
Refer to fertilityfriend.com for natural fertility signs that take no extra time or stress to see. Dont bother with the charting, temps, etc. Waste of time and stressful. Good luck!

I guess it's a combo of both. Sex Ed is taught in grammer school & in H.S. so, the only reason there is for this situation to come up is as a result of rape or some other sexual crime. I think that we have gotten a bit too liberal..I mean instead of preaching about abstaining from sex...more & more ppl are pushing birth control. Instead of teaching our kids to value themselves...we send thim packing w/ a box of condoms..I mean...That's like telling your kid that it's okay for him/her to go have sex!!! Now..I really don;t care if ppl think that I am a prude...but...I think that if ppl took more time w/ there children to TEACH them, TALK to them & DISCIPLINE them when they need it, these situations would diminish.

I think that using sex to sell anything has created a generation of oversexed teenagers. Not only oversexed teens but, it has also brainwashed ppl to think that everyone should look like a supermodel. Now...Being of an ethnic background has left me w/ everything but a 5'9 frame & I'm no where near a size 2. To tell the truth..I'm 5'1 & wear a size 5. I'm not complaining about my body because I love my look...but I am not the kind of woman that you would find on any magazine cover. I'm not the kind of woman that would come out in the movies. I'm short, & built not tall & slender. That doesn't bother me at all because I AM VERY CONFIDENT THAT I AM BEAUTIFUL!

I learned to love myself for who I am & what I am. That's why I learned to respect my body..because I understand what a precious gem I AM. We don;t teach our children about self worth anymore & that is bad.

I agree with your whole post. Im 26 and old fashioned. But let us not forget that in the old days as soon as a girl hit puberty, she was married off and had kids. In some countries, it still rings true. I dont like the thought of14 yr olds having sex in my opinion. But I think where society is going wrong is treating an older teenager that they are children and babying them. That I dont agree with. Theres 22 yr old men still living at home playing nintendo. Uhh. Society, like you said, is oversexed. And they teach being gay is ok. Even on teen channels. Now, i dont agree with hate and violence against these gay people, but I dont think it should be openly accepted either. Confusing too many teens who are already lost anyway. Im glad theres someone on here that feels the same way I do with these things. I think we the only ones. And think, we once didnt see eye to eye, lol.

Well..The whole thing about other cultures is true. There are still places that marry off there kids at the age of 15 & 15 & as far as I'm concerned...to each his/her own. What concerns me is what we are allowing our youth to see & do. I mean...advertising porn, sex & drugs is like advertising a candy bar now a days. When i was 10 years old, I never heard the word "bitch" on the television. We pay more attention to little skankoids like Lindsey Lohan & Paris Hilton rahther than the real issues that need to be brought up on the news. You know...If I was Paris Hilton's dad...I'd be super ashamed. Young women now-a-days think it's sooooooo cool to act dumb & cute. Little do they know that actting dumb is not cute at all. There is no excuse for any chld in the states to go w/out an education. We have more than enough resources to go around for every child, teen & young adult to attend school. It's rediculous to me how many young adults prefer to get a job then to go to college. Everyone wants instant success.

As far as the whole gay thing goes..You know..I really don't have an opinion about that. I have plenty of friends that are gay. I feel that maybe...we would all get more accoplished if we payed more attention to the bigger issues that surround us on a daily basis...Like that of teen pregnancy, our oversexed younger generations & what we should to to correct the issue. If we devoted less time to insignificant things like the color of someone's skin, or what there sexual preference is..then maybe the bigger issues like those of homelessness, poverty & hunger can all be taken care of. Afterall...who am I to judge anyone about anything when I'm imperfect myself. Being a christian myself....I'm have my beliefs...but I'm not going to impose them on mayone because that's not my place....The most that I can do is pray about it & focus on issues that where I can make a difference. My duty as a christian isn't to judge anyone & force my belief system on someone else...It's to pray for them & to help my neighbor whn help is needed. i'm not going to say that gay ppl are worng because it's not my position to say anything....but...I am going to say that I'm not goona lose sleep over it because it's not that big of an issue to me. Gay ppl are ppl like we are. They feel every thing that ppl feel because they are ppl...& contrary to what others may think...they should be treated w/ like everyone else is.

Ive always wanted to go to school, but scholarships and grants everyone cant get. And loans you have to pay back and im barely paying my bills now, so loan wont work lol. Its tough. But college isnt for everyone anyway. Heck half the people in college are partying it away anyhow lol. Or they never go into the field they went for. But I digress. This country is messed up!
