Mayo Clinic Jacksonville misdiagnosed me for 3 years. After countless tests, hospitalizations and life threatening hemorrhages, I learned I have not ONE but TWO CANCERS THAT THEY MISSED TIME AND AGAIN!! My insurance paid them upwards of $200,0000 and it was never enough. They still billed me to death and MAYO MAFIA aka financial services department bullied me and denied me care and treatment for my cancer-Dr. William Rupp is the Pres at Mayo Jacksonville FL and he DOES NOT CARE ABOUT PATIENTS. SHAME ON DR. RUPP. HOW DO YOU SLEEP AT NIGHT? This is true people and I am not the only cancer patient Mayo Clinic ABANDONS. They are shameless, greedy and do not care about human beings. Please share your story at www.SHAMEonMAYOCLINCI.com - launching soon. If your care was terminated or you were bullied for money and you were misdiagnosed, please share your story and warn other patients. DO NOT GO TO MAYO CLINIC. Go to Memorial Sloan Kettering in New York or to MD ANDERSON in Houston. www.ShameonMayoClinic.com

It's not just Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN that is like that. Mayo Clinic Health Systems - Franciscan Healthcare in La Crosse, WI is just as bad if not worse. Some employees of theirs mistreated me, abused me, and more. Then Joe Kruse the CAO joined in. I have been severely traumatized and therapeutically harmed, possibly even irreparably, because of all they did AND in such a short span of time after I went to them for HELP. Instead of HELP, I nearly DIED!!! Mayo Clinic and all their subsidiary clinics are all going to keep going downhill because, and I agree - they care only for money/profits and NOT about the patients. They also are becoming a monopoly. I thought THAT was outlawed about a century ago!!!! Joe Kruse CAO, Tim Thompson CEO, Kay Przywojski the abuser and bully, Julie Conway who is "Kay's clueless puppydog" and was supervisor, and Tim Blumentritt who horribly mistreated me, and others should ALL be "let go". I have a list I would gladly share with MCHS-FH in La Crosse, WI as to who all need to go. There are doctors as well on the list!(Legally i have to say that everything herein written is my opinion - even though they are facts.) Google my name with the names of the people listed. You'll find a website that is not aesthetically pleasing - yet - and is not set up very well. I am working, through my blog (google for that too - "Life According to Me") on taking the website and creating chapters for easier reading and bookmarking and hope to soon provide it in e-book form for FREE. There will be no "names changed to protect the innocent" because none of those people that were involved in any way are innocent. My advice: RUN from ANY Mayo facility if you value your life!!!!!

Mayo Clinic saved my life. The degree of care and treatment I received was so far above that of any hospital I had been to before or since it can not be truly expressed. All I can say about the suit is that it had better have merit because Mayo is one squared away hospital.

If doctors achieve the same diagnosis that their colleagues may reasonably also conclude it is hard to say it is a misdiagnosis until after the mistake has been made. If people really believe that medicine is
magic" and that things are always black or white they are the ones fooling themselves. It is why some people seek more than one opinion as a minimum in dealing with serious illnesses.Even then, the body is mysterious and elusive. If that weren't true no one would die.
People who aren't satisfied can try other forms of health care or become better informed consumers.

I went to mayo for a small tumor resection and ended up with lower colon and rectal area missing with a colomosy bag for life. Not to mentation half my liver missing during the same operation and the medial staff thought nothing of it. Claimed I had cancer? reports did not show cancer.

go to www.facebook.com/mzzsparkles there you can follow and read on abuse at the hands of Mayo Clinic ... they took my fathers life this last round ... read their medical records ... ask yourself why? how? who in the world allows powers to be judge, jury, prosector and executioner??? we are being used as lab rats ... not being treated as humans ... 99 percent of the people that come to this hospital had no choice as their states hospital did not have the EQUIPMENT. Fact is old fashioned one on one system if the system that 99 percent of the time diagnosis what is wrong and accurately treats to the best of their abilities. Big Corps like Mayo Clinic still their patience as they have the equipment needed for the cure. Many come here and never get any answers when Mayo Clinic has to do their own research. People like my father who come because of stupid daughter that was blinded by the truth, they DIE... their rights violated, treated like criminals just because they are guilty of being old.... let this be the last life lost, follow me, it is time to unveil 30 years or more of unlawful experiments performed on US Americans with FDA drugs... yes the experiment of 'side effects; to either conceal the truth, create false chemical illusion, or just harm because on feels like it' this is what Mayo Clinic has been up to, along with denying the laws that govern ones rights, confining people inside their institution then forcing drugs into them against their will would be another, yes list can go on, errored operation to no medical treatment, letting 80 year old man cool his brain with his blood pressure ... that's experiment everyone wants to see, not that I think my father enjoyed, he lived, not that they still did not get their way and get to take his life. Denial of food water medicine... can be deadly, did take his life. Am I mad, yes, where is the proof you need even I need, believe it or not much is recorded in their documents and or on insurance bills. Other records are recorded in the patiences rooms by accident, yes our pictures and camera recordings. We are the evidence. time to end this.

This is riduclious the Doctors at Mayo are Respectable Doctors and the law suite has been dismissed twice, and it should be denied to be heard because this man just wants to get a free ride and make it even more harder for us that need the Mayo clinic to get treatment. PLEASE DROP THE CHARGES SO WE ALL CAN GET THE TREATMENT THAT WE NEED AT A REASONABLE PRICE. Thank you.
Really: try that if they kill ya, thats what they did to our father, they killed him during brain surgery and are trying to cover it up saying they don't know what happened, you better think again about mayo clinic, remember it is a research hospital. My father did not get a free ride he got DEATH, which was only a 1percent chance and he did not even have a life threading disease!!

I went to the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville Fl because I thought they were the best, but I found them to be arrogant, disrespectful, inept, bordering on fraudulent, very expensive and simply wrong.

After a biopsy, I was diagnosed with cancer by the VA. At the Mayo a Physicians Assistant without a biopsy decided I did not have cancer.
After diagnosis by several doctors over years that I have chronic sinusitis, and with all the symptoms that same PA who presented herself as a doctor, decided I didn't have any sinus problems, and no cancer.
Another doctor, a cancer specialist also without a biopsy at a glance declared me cancer free.
The Mayo charged me for a biopsy that never happened. When I contacted Mayo about my concerns I got a brief dismissal go away letter in effect telling me I'm wrong and lying.
They made several mistakes and prescribed unnecessary test.
Since my Mayo Clinic experience I've asked friends about the Mayo and found that few who went to the Mayo were happy with the experience and one woman who is dying from complications imposed on her by the Mayo Clinic shared with me her horror story.
I'm not yet finished with the Mayo Clinic. I will peck away at the fortress wall that the Mayo has erected around it self. It with it's beautiful buildings and appearance of of being a treasury of medicine is in fact essentially only another con designed to get your money.

Yes they should be sued. The doctors won't even have to pay if they lose the case. Their insurance company well so absolutely they should sue the CDC and see if he can finally get paid for a wrong diagnosis and subsequent anguish.

I have been trying for YEARS to inform our country (and now the world since Mayo is surreptitiously expanding overseas) about Mayo and its ineptitude and so much more. I have a blog called "Life According to Me" but am slowly moving all "Mayo" blogs to a new blog on WordPress called "Disabled Need Justice". The "Mayo" blogs are about what they did to me (I have a website concerning that - links to it are on the blogs) as well as what "Mayo" is up to. I will "peck away" with you not just at Mayo's "fortress wall" but with what they are working towards:#1 healthcare power not only in the USA but globally.

Sorry dionne,, its so awful the way this place operates...I too have been pushed aside by Mayo In order to protect my local hospital,, they have conspired with them to protect them from a possible suit leaving me behind to wonder what is really happening to me, how much time do I have? Im sorry ,, I will be praying for you

Yes, this is disgusting that any reputable clinic has made this kind of mistake. I heard from many people about that clinic's reputation. I can't recognize that this mistake has been done by Mayo clinic.
