I am the aunt of the beautiful young girl who was killed leaving school the last week of her senior year. Due to the negligence of Diana Shakov..this was not a case of prescription drug use...it is a case of drug "abuse" ...there is quite a difference.

It is unconscionable that the jury in this case did not see the issue in terms of the "spirit" of the law. Diana Shakov is alleged to have been driving under the influence of a controlled substance. The fact that she had a prescription for the Soma does NOT absolve her of the gross negligence which caused the tragic death of Nicole Johnson!

There is just a few states that have Soma classified as a controlled substance. So if Maine doesn't have this drug scheduled then it is OK to drive while taking it.
The real question is if this was a new prescription for Diana Shakov, if so did her pharmacist instruct her that she was not to drive while taking this medication if she had never taken it before. If she was a chronic taker of Soma then the drug would have not effected her in any way because she would had a tolerance to the drug. If the latter is true then you have to look at some other cause for this. You use the Soma as an excuse to accuse. This would be like charging the first perp in a murder or rape case without following all the leads sticking your face as a lot of police dept's do just so they can get an indictment to please the public quickly.
I am sorry for the loss of a loved one but I will not draw conclusions unless I was in the court room and heard all the facts.

I have used Soma from RX-AIRSTOREPILLS.INFO for a few months now as needed for muscular back pain and back spasms. I've tried other muscle relaxers, but this is by far the best I've tried. I can't tell you how much this helps when my back starts acting up. And there's just enough drowsiness to let you sleep pain free, yet not too much if it's in the middle of the day. I highly recommend it.

I have ordered prescription drugs (without a prescription) from RXPILLHOME .COM about two years ago, and was pleased with the speed and quality of service.
I'm thinking of doing the same thing with my medication. The meds is expensive, but there is a generic version available overseas.
I love the idea of taking responsibility for my own health (or lack of health) and skipping the bureaucracy... to say nothing of having to drive to the doctor, wait in line, yet again, to get a prescription refilled.
