It's all about GREED, GREED, GREED! These companies know there aren't enough jobs (if any) out there, severance only lasts for so long. THEY JUST DON'T CARE! Those left behind are expected to stress out and work harder for fear of losing their job. I bet highers up will get bonuses for cost cutting measures!

Pfizer made record profits this last quarter, Kindler their CEO was appointed to the federal reserve board in new york by the obama administration, and guess what he endorsed the health care debacle passed in the midnight hours this weekend which will basically kill what is left of the pharmaceutical industry in the US. This is not corporate greed as much as it is the government sanctioned takeover of your health care industry through the back door. You guys just cannot connect the dots that is all.
