that would be a good idea Miranda but first you'd have to find a rooster and i hate to tell you but around here... a good cock is hard to find.
But on the other hand a hard one is good to find!

Our family have chickens too! It feels pretty good to go out get your eggs and not have to worry about forgetting to pick them up at the store, or the prices. My brother-in-law raise's them also, we get a kick out of who got the most eggs out of the coop everyday.H e just lives across the road from us. We even have duck too. They are a much richer tasting egg, but I like um, here in Kentucky.

Ingredients -
1/2 pound Monkey Brain, coarsely chopped
2 ounces peeled Shrimp, finely chopped
1 teaspoon Brown Sugar
1 tablespoon Chinese Rice Wine
1 tablespoon Light Soy Sauce
1 teaspoon finely chopped Green Onion
1 teaspoon chopped fresh Ginger Root
24 (3.5 inch square) Wonton Wrappers
3 cups Monkey Brain Stock
1/8 cup finely chopped Green Onion Preparation:
1. In a large bowl, combine monkey brain, shrimp, sugar, wine, soy sauce, 1 teaspoon chopped green onion and ginger. Blend well, and let stand for 25 to 30 minutes.
Place about one teaspoon of the filling at the center of each wonton skin. Moisten all 4 edges of wonton wrapper with water, then pull the top corner down to the bottom, folding the wrapper over the filling to make a triangle. Press edges firmly to make a seal. Bring left and right corners together above the filling. Overlap the tips of these corners, moisten with water and press together. Continue until all wrappers are used.
FOR SOUP: Bring the monkey brain stock to a rolling boil. Drop wontons in, and cook for 5 minutes. Garnish with chopped green onion, and serve.

i am a bona fide wicked city woman and would like to know how many eggs do you get each day and do you have to like put them in the fridge wash them or could you just hang the chicken over the frying pan and let it drop? also do you eat these chickens or are they just used for eggs? do you sell them and how much per dozen?

Well here in the hilbilly country, alot of people like to buy them and we try to keep them lower than the store prices them for, but some people don't care about the price because they know that we keep them on a special diet and yes we hatch chickens the old fashion way by letting the hen set on the eggs and hatch that way. If we have to many roosters we trade with other farmers or we eat them, at least we know what they r feed and that they r healthy.

This is shocking news. A Kim Wang impersonator, really? I don't know if I can continue to believe everything I read on this forum any more.
