I have MS. and suffer from Fatigue and sleepiness. Sater trying Provigil it seemed to work wonderfully for me. I had energy and did not fight sleepiness. The only problem is Medicare will not cover it.

Does anyone know how to combat fatigue caused by high blood pressure medication? I have been taking Modapro-200, but it doesn't seem to be working very well, the fatigue is overwhelming.

Provigil didn't do a thing for my MS fatigue. I wanted it to work so badly that I tried it on two separate occasions.

Next, I tried Vyvanse. It made me more mentally alert, but the nausea side effect wouldn't go away.

Today my new MS doctor has prescribed a low dose of Adderall. I hope this one works because my fatigue is so bad my quality of life hangs in the balance.

I have MS and I have been on Provigil for several months now. It worked great in the beginning but it seems I have gotten used to it. I try to take it only when I need it (Pretty much the days I work). I notice a little kick in the mornings but not much else and it is frustrating because I am back to having tired-filled days. If I take more (i only take 100mg - 150mg.. I am a small woman of 100 lbs) then I find that I have shakes and am up until 4am the next day and I have tried this on more than one occassion to test if maybe I had just been used to it. It seems I can't find a good medium and splitting up the doses like 100mg at 6am and 50 or another 100mg at 10am only last me until 2 or 3pm and I am feeling very exhausted again.

I'm a big guy, not morbidly obese but big enough...my doctor prescribed Provigil. I only took it about 3 times. The first time it seemed to Work how it should, second time it was less effective. The last time it seemed to do the opposite of that it's supposed to do. Yeah, I felt even more tired and sleepy! Anybody else have that problem?
