As a university instructor and a psychologist who works with a number of patients with dual diagnoses that includes cocaine addiction, this article caught my interest. Anything that helps cocaine addicts with the recovery process is welcome news. Thanks. Oh, BTW, I recently wrote and recorded this rock Christmas song designed to raise awareness about the devastating consequences of cocaine addiction:

I know a cheaper more effective solution to treat cocaine addiction: STOP USING!!!! I've know many people who have done just that and it really works!

Cocaine addiction is not going to be treated by the substitution of Modafinil. It will not work. Modafinil is a drug of abuse. The idea that one can safely administer this drug to coke addicts is r-tarded. Modafinil is the same schedule as Xanax. So, it is just as abusable and as addictive as Xanax, only it takes the person up instead of down. Drug manufacturers fight hard to keep their new drugs off of the list of scheduled drugs. So, if something ends up being designated as scheduled, you can bet your A*# it is not something that can be used to treat addiction, because it CAUSES addiction. Don't be a moron.

I have been taking Provigil for a year and a half. I am a former uppers drug abuser and ADHD. I have been cleen for over 3 years and had tried several ADHD medicine including strettra. Nothing worked. Provigil has helped me be more focused and attentive but I can go with out as well. I disagree that it is just a replacement drug.

after close to 30 years of methamphetamine dependency, provigil has been a life saver for me. The sociological remedy of "just quit" is not a option for anyone with a life. The crash is real and debilitating. Provigil once a day has been incredibly successful in eliminating the crash.

Indian Provigil from http://indiantrustedpill.info works great. I was diagnosed with MS at the age of 29 and had severe fatigue for 2 years prior. I started on 200mg which was way too strong so I cut the dose into 100mg. I find that if I take it everyday it is not as effective so I just take it when needed which ends up being about 3 times a week (I work full time in a sort of stressful environment).
It is important not to "over do it" when on Provigil. I have to say that Provigil changed my life. I am now able to spend time with my boyfriend in the evenings after work and also see friends past 9 PM and not get fatigued. I do feel that when I drink on Provigil I get very emotional...so I try and stay away from drinking. I do like how it helps me mentally focus and also have energy to exercise!

As we pontificate, hypothesize, and speculate on what to do with our addiction and whether provigil or any other alternate substance works or not, hundreds of innocent and guilty people die on both sides of the border in the endless narco/war on drugs debacle. Let's save whatever morality we may have left as a society and instead of discussing our lethal drug addictions to the detriment of everyone else, let's legalize, regulate and tax our insatiable appetite for narcotics. For the uncurable this will have a self fulfilling result. For the addicted it may encourage them to seek help sooner. For the innocent victims of drug violence it should be reduced and hopefully eliminated. The treasury will swell from the taxation revenues and the cessation of funding a worthless and morally bankrupt "war on drugs"

I can recommend a reputable pharmacy (Provigil) express-meds.net/provigil.html... I received the order and it was on time and the pills work great.

Daily Horoscope for May 20

Pisces

Your mind is razor sharp today, making it easy to reach decisions and put your thoughts into words. Make the most of this articulate and brainy phase, especially if that means taking part in a discussion or putting your ideas down on paper. If you need to defend your opinions you'll manage to do so without sounding aggressive or dictatorial.
