Anti-LRP4 autoantibodies as diagnostic biomarker for myasthenia gravis

The results from a recent study published in the Journal of Neurology have shown that low-density lipoprotein receptor-related protein 4 (LRP4) is a novel target for autoantibodies and is a diagnostic marker in myasthenia gravis patients who are seronegative for antibodies against acetylcholine receptors (AChRs) or tyrosine kinase muscle-specific kinase (MuSK).
