And all anti vaxxers lie, as seen here. I have yet to criticize for not vaccinating, I talk about known consequences. I could care less who vaccinates. I am for vaccine choice.
Nice example of anti vaxxer conspiracy, lies and misinfo.

Well, if those who were surveyed were also told of thousands of parents describing autism in their children following vaccination, may then they will be better informed.

Those people should go and read on forums about parents reporting of symptoms leading to autism.

Symptoms far too similar around VACCINATION time, just to be simply put coincidental.
Vaccinations are given way too young in my opinion.
People should wait until 3 yrs of age when the brain finishes developing .
What's the big rush on giving those vaccinations and why on earth sooooooo many at once??
Insanity!

<quoted text>Is this rhetoric aimed at me? Or my family doctor? Or vaccine policy in general? Because if it's the two latter, you are right on.

My doctors knew our family history of allergies and eczema, yet handed us a vaccine fact sheet and vaccinated my son anyway. We did not give informed consent because we were not informed. The side effects we were told about were not for our son, they were for a child with a perfect bill of health, no family history of allergy...if did not apply to us but was passed off as being accurate.

We trust our doctors to keep us safe, so no, I did not question their knowledge on the matter. Out of necessity I am not so naive now, but I will also not take the blame for what at the time was a rational decision based on the evidence given to me at the time. If a doctor had been honest with me and said he didn't really know if it was safe, I certainly would have done the research myself.

This is the problem with the vaccine system today- we parents need to be detectives and researchers, yet we are NOT taught to do so- we are taught to blindly accept what our pediatrician says.

You can't determine if a baby is going to be allergic, so the policy should recommend NOT vaccinating them at all. Wait until our babies are toddlers and do one at a time.

Instead, American babies are vaccinated starting at birth, or in the first two months of life. In fact in my case my son was even vaccinated without my permission (hep.b, given at birth).

If doctors tell us not to feed our babies eggs until 1, why is it ok to inject that protein into their blood stream in a flu shot at 6 mos?

There ARE blood tests available. A simple scratch test is not enough. Both IgE and IgG blood tests should be done for milk protein, egg, peanut, and any other allergen you suspect is a problem in your family.

As for statistics on kids with allergies/ immune issues and vaccine reactions, versus those who don't have any, versus the actual illness itself, I have yet to see a large scale published study.
THAT IS THE PROBLEM!
I stated the same thing on the ADHD board big debate there as well about autism And vaxs.
btw my daughter spoke perfectly, sentences And all got her 2 year shots And everything changes.
To ME that was proof. she had a fever , that's a reaction.
It took a early intervention etc for her to get caught up but I've seen enough heard enough read enough to know there is NO reason to give example my daughter was jaundiced And I told them Please do NOT give hEp shot And is wait for pediatrician to do it! Why is it soooo vital to give hep shot to a newborn baby!??
I
Personally think shots should be spread out And given after age 3 when we know their brains are fully developed!

<quoted text>"pro anti-vaxxer" now there's an interesting term.

If you recognize vaccine injuries, then why can you not fathom that in some individuals they had a vaccine, that vaccine triggered autism.

When a child is speaking in sentences, then completely stops talking, has bowel issues and bangs his head against the wall, why is that not also a vaccine injury?
Omg you just bought me back
In time :( that's the issue we see and hear our children every day than the shots than the fever which is because of the shot.... Than proof, the baby (age 2 IMO is a baby) stops talking completely when a week ago was singing twinkle twinkle little star perfectly? No way does this make any sense to this mother.
Foward to now, no autism however i believe fully now on it causing autism And had my daughter been a BOY he would be autistic. I have no doubt.
Now my daughter is fine however I feel she would've been much more ahead than she is now and am pissed.

No one cares if people vaccinate or not, except when some infant is infected and dies, or when someone bases opinion not on facts. Brains also don't get fully developed until near age 20. Why not wait until then to vaccinate? There's a history of why vaccines are given at early ages. Many died when exposed to these childhood diseases. Aside from that and the amount of vaccines, infants are exposed to a ton of pathogens on a daily bases. You also need a little more than instincts as proof. Instinct is not concrete, strong, unbiased or reliable.

This is an autism forum. There's more to autism than just language issues. The only thing of value you pointed out is the over diagnosing, had your child been a boy there'd had been an autism diagnosis.
Your child doesn't have autism and you stated she is fine. So you're simply in the wrong place just to rant.

So what. Wakefield's own actions spoke for themselves, which resulted in being found guilty of gross misconduct.

Isn't that the same list of 30 that was already posted in the autism forum? Trying to get some mileage off that? Looks the same to me. All you have to do is look up these 30 studies. One isn't about vaccines at all, but environmental exposures to mercury and not of that of vaccines. Who didn't already know mercury Methylmercury
was danerous? It also includes studies of the Geier's, included both father and son. In 2003, a judge ruled that Mark Geier presented himself as an expert witness in "areas for which he has no training, expertise and experience." In other cases in which Geier has testified, judges have labeled his testimony "intellectually dishonest," "not reliable" and "wholly unqualified." Another judge wrote that Geier "may be clever, but he is not credible." In 2011 the medical board ruled that Mark Geier misdiagnosed patients, diagnosed patients without sufficient tests, and recommended risky treatments without fully explaining the risks to the parents. They also ruled that he misrepresented his credentials, including during an interview with the board. Geier's licenses to practice medicine in the states of Washington, Virginia and California were suspended as well.
In 2011 his son David Geier was charged by the Maryland State Board of Physicians of practicing as a licensed physician, when he only has a Bachelor of Arts in biology.

At face value, the list may be impressive. Look each one up. It's a fraudulent attempt to misinform people, hoping they're either too lazy or not smart enough to research the list.

The issue isn't my posts, is it? The issue is the fraudulent attempt to misinform people, hoping they're either too lazy or not smart enough to research the list. You're just a poor sport when you find out the list you're spamming is useless and doesn't support any vaccine/ autism link.

This is INSANE. Wakefield should be ashamed of himself, and so should celebrities like Jenny McCarthy. There is enough misinformation going around; we don't need public figures spreading it!

Everyone should be ashamed of Wakefield. He's unemployeed, has a web site asking for money (because he's unemployeed) and has no country as of yet that will accept him as a doctor. All done by his own actions, hich can be still seen on video. Wakefield and McCarthy's motivation was what? Money, and lots of it.

Thats a lot of Americans who don't believe vaccines are safe. Wonder what evidence they know. Maybe its the 1 in 88 that only a few years earlier was 1 in 150 cases of autism, which was 1 in 10,000 in the 1980's?
