And had there not been modern medical care, the child would had died as children did prior to modern medicine.
"I also understand the importance of parents and families being able to make their own decisions based on good, sound information, but its so important to make sure the information you are basing your decisions on is from a creditable source and that you revisit it."
And be sure that info doesn't come from anti vaxxer's who claim measles is a mild disease that doesn't need medical attention.

So you only think anti vaxxer parent stories are credible? But this parents story isn't?
Vioxx has nothing to do with anything. Don't like mordern medicine, don't. None of us will care.
