This new research only advances the understanding of the orthodox medical paradigm of mechanistic reductionism. It fails to provide a comprehensive, accurate assessment of the situation. After all, the medical profession claims that serotonin is the element of happiness despite that many lines of research documented that serotonin leads to brain degeneration, stress hormone release, inflammation, impaired blood circulation in the brain, metabolic interference, cancer, and so forth (see http://www.supplements-and-health.com/tryptop... ). This research is geared to eventually and hopefully create more profitable products for the medical establishment.
