It is about time these companies pay for the hurt and suffering they have caused over the years. Especially if they knew that the Asbestos was dangerous.

Yeah right... who pays for it. Ever wonder why insurance is high?
That is as dumb as these lawsuits over lung cancer from cigarettes or whatever. Lawyers are the only that make it worthwhile(rip-off artists)!

The orange color finally washed out of my (swim)
suit... I wore it reguardless but as it seems you and I are a different breed.
Wearing a suit in court is a whole different situation. It's a matter of respect toward the judge and his court.
My input to you L M O.... If you can afford one, by all means wear it.. It won't hurt.

Mesothelioma is not a self imposed desease like Lung Cancer from cigarette smoking. It is a death sentence for being in the wrong place at the wrong time. The victims, many of us vets, are far more worthy of a payout than some clumsy person spilling coffee.

Many companies that used asbestos knew that asbestos was dangerous for over 50 years. These companies continued to use asbestos because it was cheaper than alternatives. The companies hid the truth from the public and their own employees and families. Medical studies were manipulated to hide the dangers of asbestos. Only years later the truth was discovered.

This is obviously a terrible disease that innocent people, and their families, are suffering from. The website http://www.mesobook.com/ provides a free guide written by medical professionals devoted to providing treatment information for those diagnosed with mesothelioma. The website also contains success stories and other mesothelioma related information. Please help spread the word about the asbestos conspiracy.

I smell a big pile of shit here. There are legitimate, tragic cases where asbestos has ended or ruined lives, and those people deserve to be made as whole as possible. Unfortunately, scumbag lawyers and doctors have turned asbestos litigation into an industry into itself. In no area of the legal system is there more fraud and misinformation than this. At least $54 billion dollars has been paid out, with much of the money going to folks who have little to no legitimate claim. The cases of fraud are laughable, with instances like one doctor / lawyer team "diagnosing" 88,000 cases of asbestos related illness over a span of years. Johns Hopkins doctors reviewed the charts and could only diagnose 4.5% as legit. Believe me, I don't diminish those with legitimate illnesses. I do, however, think that many of these suits are an affront to our legal system pushed by dirtbag lawyers and doctors that will do anything for a buck. Hell, there's two posts in this thread alone (yours is one) trying to shill their businesses into the conversation.

Daily Horoscope for May 22

Aquarius

Someone is confused and muddled today, making it difficult to talk for long without becoming equally bemused. Avoid making decisions or researching important information, because there's a strong possibility of getting crossed wires, or talking at cross purposes. A memory may also be distorted now, leading to mix-ups or bewilderment.
