OSU-Newark student hospitalized with bacterial meningitis | The Columbus Dispatch
#1 Mar 22, 2011
Again, bacterial meningitis has struck another young person. Please heed the CDC recommendations and get your children vaccinated. The CDC recommends routine vaccination for all 11-18 year olds at the earliest opportunity, with a booster dose 5 years later. I lost my son to this disease, because I did not know it was potentially vaccine-preventable. Don't let this happen to you. Visit the National Meningitis Association for more information.
