Offit's book is all about propaganda, dutifully pushed by the corporate news media while they neglect to publish accounts that truly debunk his supplement-slandering works. Besides that many alternative methods work but Offit fails to acknowledge it (read http://www.supplements-and-health.com/vitamin... ), rather than asking "Why is some alternative medicine considered medicine at all?" the public should ask "Why do we consider that conventional medicine works when it kills a mountain of people every year with its products and treatments?" This is about politics.
