I think that having faith in whatever "alternative" approach you decide try is worth it, even if others may think you're crazy. Sometimes, things work out. My physician recommended that I begin taking echinacea before I started my teaching career because it's supposedly an immune system booster. I've got to admit, I don't get sick nearly as often as I used to since I started taking it.

This is not science. It's pseudo-science.

I wouldn't care except that the topic is cancer. If you're stage 4 and have pretty much exhausted your mainstream medical options I think anyone would try alternatives, but try to be sensible about it. Don't sign up for made up science.
