Elizabeth: Lyme disease has spread to many states after being discovered in Lyme CT, just 10 miles from Plum Island, NY, site of a government germ warfare facility. After WW II, the US recruited Nazi germ warfare experts, and some believe this was the source of Lyme, perhaps carried by migrating birds.
