Mangosteen has several benefits such as:
• Anti-tumor and cancer prevention
• Analgesic – prevents and reduces pain in back, lag, foot, neck, head, etc
• Anti-oxidant – neutralize free-radicals to stop the damage of the cell
• Anti-inflammatory – prevents inflammation and stop pains due to inflammation
• Anti-biotic, anti-viral, anti-fungal – prevents or modulates all infections
• Immunostimulant etc.
I have read the testimonials of several people with lyme disease, who said that it helped. If you need more information please contact me, [email protected]

The anti-tumour properties of Mangosteen juice might be related to its naturaly occurring 'resveratrol' related compounds which is found in most 'organically' grown edible chlorophyll-based plants. On the other hand, commercially grown edible plants have been found to contain less of this important compound. This compound has been identified to occur within the 'bitter' portion of the plant. Modern methods of preparation has acquiesced to our taste buds, removed the 'bitterness' and made the ingestible product sweeter, all in order to accommodate our taste buds.
I'll spare you the details and limit this thought by saying that these naturally occurring 'resveratrol' compounds, when ingested, combine with a specific enzyme known to be present in all malignancies to form piceatannol, which is a known cancer toxin.
I am of the opinion that these sufferers who have found some symptomatic relief from Lyme's, have simply had their symptoms addressed and not the underlying cause. Treating the symptoms alone does not guarantee prevention from ensuing damage.
Good luck with the current Mangosteen mania!
