my father has stage 4 lung cancer. he was diagnosed last year (august 2007) he is only 49 years old. his cancer has spread everywhere he has done every type of chemo and also radiation to his brain where the cancer tumors have traveled. he is suffering and dying before our eyes. he is now back in the hospital with an enlarged liver which the doctors say they cant do anything about he liver is 18 cm which a normal liver is only 8 cm. they have him on so much morphine he cant even speak to us. he is very weak he hasnt eat anything in days. he throws everything up due to the enlargement of his liver. i pray for him everyday. thats all we can do i wanted to give him a liver transplant but they wont allow me to they said all it would do is the cancer would come right back anyway. his body is also to weak to under-go that kind of surgery. Everyone who has a family member with cancer or a friend i am praying for all of you this is the hardest thing i have ever went through. watching my father die infront of my is the worst thing in the world. My prayers are out there to everyone.

There is a cure for cancer, His name is Jesus. I had cancer two years ago, and Jesus healed me. The morning after I had surgery, He awakened me and said "No cancer." It was confirmation of what I kept confessing to the doctors for two months. Confirmation from the Almighty God!!! And He is no respecter of persons, He will do the same for anyone. However, His word does say that without faith it is impossible to please God, because when you come to Him, you must first believe that HE IS and that He is a rewarder of them who diligently seek Him. The surgeon's report was in line with what God said: "No cancer." I have had no treatments of any kind, praise and thanks to God. I am praying for all who have been diagnosed with this disease that they will take to heart what I have shared, and do what God tells them to do. In addition, during my experience, I had a dream of a nurse who came to me and said "Eat your fruits and vegetables." Also, one evening while I was worshiping the Lord, God said "This is how you live." Let those who have an ear, hear what the Spirit of God has done and He is waiting for you to come to Him in faith, believing! I will continue to visit this site.

My Aunt Linda from Oklahoma found out in February 2008, that she had lung cancer and they gave her 3 months then, as of yesterday they said she is at stage 4 and they give her a month at the most. I did talk with her today and it is so sad to see how much she has gone down in a week. I'm writting this to ask everyone to please pray for her and my cousins David and Stephanie, as they are about to go through the worst days of there lifes. My father my Aunts brother also died of cancer 2 1/2 years ago both at the age of 60, and it's the worst thing I ever watched a human go through. My heart goes out to anyone that has to deal with this in their lives. GOD BLESS...

I stumbled on this forum while looking up information about nsclc. My father was just diagnosed. His is also in stage 4. He is 74 years old, his health in general is not good. He is a diabetic. At the same time he was diagnosed, we had to put our mother in the nursing home because she has dementia and Alzheimer's disease. This is a tough blow to our family. He is in his fourth week of treatments of chemo and radiation. He is so sick from the treatments. He is considering stopping all treatments because his quality of life is not there. I will support him in whatever decision he makes. He lives in TN. I was there during my summer break. I work at a school in Rockford, IL. Since I have come back home my father does not look like the man that I was with just three weeks ago. Cancer is a mean disease. No one should have to go through this. Please pray for my father.
Brad from Rockford, IL if you could find the time to write me I would appreciate it. This is because all my family is in TN and I am here alone. I do have a husband and a son but they don't understand like you do. [email protected] Thanks, Wanda

My Dad is in the final stages of lung cancer too. I can't believe it. He was diagnosed last Sept. and had all treatments available. They sent him home with morphine to keep him comfortable about 2 weeks ago. It is horrible I guess it can happen anytime. I am so scared for him. I know he is scared too. Please keep him in your prayers. My 2 brothers , sister and I are going to be with him Sunday, please pray that he makes it until Sunday so we can be with him all together. THanks Tina

Wanted to update you on my husband Brian. I wrote in June. He is still doing well and on Taraceva 150 mg. every day. The only problem he has is his weight goes up and down otherwise he's great!! He still works, farms and exercises daily. He is 48, never smoked and has stage IV adenocarcinoma lung cancer in both lungs, his spine and a small tumor by his liver. They can't operate since it is so spread and couldn't even do the kind of biopsy they wanted in Houston TX at MD Anderson. The Tarceva and every day prayer he says it what's keeping him going. He also has the attitude that whatever happens is going to happen and he's ok with that. Just wanted you all to know. He has also gone on a strict diet of soy, all wheat products, wild salmon, organic chicken breasts, and tons of vegetables and baking soda. He makes a shake of broccoli, carrots and spinach and drinks probably 12 ounces of this every night before supper. We also buy his water. I'm letting you know this in case it might help someone else out as it has helped Brian. If anyone has a website of someone dealing with this kind of cancer that we can get in contact with to share our bout with this stuff I'd appreciate you letting me know...Thanks!!
Take care and God Bless!! Cancer is very hard on the whole family involved..It's awful. All we can do is live every day the best way we can!!!

my father died from sepsis, 6 weeks from the time he was diagnosed with lung cancer stage 4. he had his radiation and was about to start chemo. God has His ways of answering prayers. Maybe it's not physical healing but deliverance from suffering and eternal life and happiness with Him in heaven. although we miss him so much but at least now he has his strength and normal breathing and feeling back for sure and he's at peace. we would have wished at least 6 mos (usual survival for stage 4 ) for him, we didn't see the sepsis coming. it just came without any warning. i wonder if there was a way to prevent it. sometimes i remind myself to stop asking for God knows what's best for all of us and especially for papa that He allowed things to happen. i still praise God for everything. He and His mysterious ways.

My name is Cheryl and my soninlaw has stage 4 non small cell adeno carcinoma...he was diagnosed 3 months ago and has now had his lifetime limit of radiation ..and still has 4 chemo sessions to go..his cancer had spread to his mediastinum and to 2 places in his neck..the outlook was VERY grim..the dr's told him to get his affairs in order..He went to see 2 different biochemists who both strongly suggested he try crushed apricot seeds as a treatment ..they assured him this could be taken along with the chemo and rdiation..so we did some research on the seeds and decided to try them..i read on a site that he should take 33 seeds per day...so for 2 weeks he consumed 33 of these seeds per day and got so sick he went back to the biochemist for some help..when he told the man he was taking 33 seeds per day..the man freaked out and told him he should never take more than 7-10 seeds per day...as they have cyanide in them that ideally trick the cancer into thinking its sugar...then as the cancer consumes the seeds..the seeds kill the cancer from the inside out..well..he began to take 10 seeds per day ...and last week he had another chest x-ray..and it said that the cancer is...GONE...yes..GONE!!!...now he still has 4 chemo's and on sept 1st they will repeat all the catscans and the petscan but we truly believe god has given us a miracle...heres some food for thought..i went back to the site wherre i read to take 33 seeds per day..and NOWHERE on that site does it say that...i truly believe god steered us there to help him give us this miracle...if anyone wants to discuss this in depth you may email me at [email protected] there IS hope out there..we just have to find it..
