CHerry Picked 22 Studies... And then said ""We believe that our study provides the strongest evidence to date that smoking in the workplace does present a substantial risk to workers -- and particularly to workers who are working in highly exposed areas such as bar workers or restaurant workers,""

Um... what study.. You did a study of studies.. Most of which are probably studies of studies themselves. This kind of cherry picking is not science. It is BS FRAUD made to lead people into believing false information.

You all need to read the blog by the man who began the workplace ban! He is highly upset!!

Some facts:

Smoke contains 4,000 chemicals, but 3,950 of them are measurable only in nanograms and picograms.

Know how big a picogram is?
A single grain of salt weighs 100 MILLION picograms.
A lot of those smoke "chemicals" are present as only a few SINGLE picograms or less.

Our diet subjected to the same level of analysis yields TEN thousand chemicals!

Secondhand smoke IS worse than firsthand smoke, but ONLY if you snort it through a straw right from the burning end of a cigarette.

A non-smoker in a decently ventilated area with smokers will usually inhale far less than 1/100th or even 1/1000th of a cigarette per hour.

The Class A carcinogen alcohol as evaporated vapor from drinks is over 500 times as concentrated in an average bar as Class A smoke carcinogens.

Learn the Facts and Defend Your Freedoms!

There's a giant foundation that grants funds for research, that is with the goal to show the results they want. Funds come in from pharmacutical companies for funding as they have their goals. There's good in nicotine and they want it for prescriptions. www.forces.org/evidence/hamilton/other/nicoti ...

Meanwhile, over 30 years ago, fudged reports began coming out from main stream organizations to slowly manuver the population into believing tobacco was bad. Those reports are funded thru the foundation that has population agendas and tobacco is far from the only subject.

Follow the money (who makes it with the no-smoking products to who would gain if nicotine went into prescriptions, who owns the big blocks of pharma stocks, who is funded by who with political donations, ect) and you'll uncover more than you can dream of concerning deceit to we the people.
http://cleanairquality.blogspot.com/2006/01/w ...

Next it will be alcohol and it appears it's already begun when you consider the current closings of bars in this country.

There is evidence on the web but it has to be searched for.
Some facts: www.heartland.org/Article.cfm...

We ALL have been duped for a long time. Stop the bans now because you are opening the legal door to more than you can conceive at this time.

History Buff: spare us this cut/paste rubbish.

Constantly repeating stuff doesn't make it true!

3950 trace chemicals? Irrelevant fact that helps you distract people from the few deadly carcinogens that are enough to ensure 90% of lung cancer occurs in smokers.

Alcohol a carcinogen? A COMPLETE LIE!!

If you are making such basic mistakes (or deliberatly lying) then it is clear you are deceiving people and only care about your own leisure persuits, rather than other people's health.

The truth is finally coming out in the medias! It’s about time!!

A couple lines from the link are below. There’s a Lot more to be seen.

can be traced to a mercantile agenda on the part of anti-smoking entities and certain pharmaceutical companies that have used the anti-tobacco issue to coerce a massive “brand switch” from cigarettes to nicotine cessation devices.

And the mainstream press is finally taking a gander at the ties between the anti-smoking movement and the pharmaceutical industry.

If that is how often you go to to church, you ought to spend more time worrying about fire in your next life rather than a few puffs of smoke now.

Eric. As I've told you before elsewhere, you can go to Google and type in 'alcohol cause cancer' and other phrases to fit what you doubt with my post noted above and get a lot of validation. You should have done that prior to your post above.

Further, If I post something somewhere and someone sees it, or knows I'm doing posts, and they want to copy it to another forum I didn't post something to, I do not have a problem with it. Why would I want to post something on one forum and then change my name elsewhere? Makes no sense.

You just can't stand the TRUTH in the posts and that's your way to try to hide the facts.

The CDC does no longer exist! I tried calling them and only got recorded messages. After a few moments of deduction I then remembered the Sturgeon Generals statement last summer that SHS is so dangerous that modern ventilation could not make one safe from it. Based on this unrefuttable statement and the fact the CDC worked with things such as the bubonic plague, hunta viruses, and anthrax. I have come to the conclusuion that a real person was not able to answer the phone because is because they ARE ALL DEAD!

Will there be an investigation into this nationwide government scandal?

To the average non-smoker as I am, it might appear that the American Lung Association, American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, American Non-Smoker's Rights, the American Medical Association, countless research Universities around the country, etc. are lobbying our politicians for smoking bans for health reasons.

However, upon some investigation it is clear that these NGO's are backed by $200,000,000.00 + from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) which has direct ties to the Johnson & Johnson Company, and J & J is the manufacturer of Nicoderm & Nicoderm CQ via its wholly owned subsidiary ALZA. Recently, the buyout of Pfizer means J & J profits even more from the passage of smoking bans thru additional sales of Nicotrol and the new smoking cessation drug Chantix.

See all at http://cleanairquality.blogspot.com/2006/01/w...

ALSO. Do a web search for 'cancer virus' and 'cancer bacteria'. It IS an eye opener.
