Holiday eating requires a little homework for diabetics

Q: I am diabetic. How can I manage my diabetes despite all of the treats and temptations that come with the holiday season? A: The holiday season usually brings about festive parties where foods, sweets and alcohol are difficult to avoid.
Some good advice- don't overeat if you can help it.
If you do, go for a walk to walk some extra calories off. Don't mess around with your insulin doses if you don't need to!
