The us remains the only first world country where a person can lose everything they worked for by getting sick! Disgraceful! That's that wonderful 'free market' at work.

Perhaps you should move and enjoy that wonderful universal socialists care.. There is a reason our hospitals are full of medical tourists from around the world. Universal health care puts an inefficient government between you and your Drs decisions.. Many people are beginning to realize that Obama care is a hoax. All he did was take money and resources away from those most in need ( seniors and the disabled.) and created a new entitlement. We now pay for birth control pills but not important life saving meds needed by the sickest among us.. Seniors and the disabled are now having their care rationed and limited by a 12 member board that is unelected and there are no educational requirements for the board. In other words politicians are denying life saving and quality of life health care. So forget cataract surgery, joint replacements and cancer treatment if you are over 70.. I'll take the free market any day over corrupt, inefficient government employees. I get so tired of the parasites who think they have a right to expect the government to take care of them by taxing others! Allow me to keep more of my money and I will find and get high quality health care and the government won't have access to my personal health information.. The reason health care is so expensive is because government is involved with it. I owned and operated a medical clinic. We got paid 12 dollars fore a Medicare visit... Everyone else subsidized that care. You got charged more to make up for that visit which is rarely profitable. An all cash clinic wheeee everyone would pay 20 dollars would cover most people and there would be no need for the ridiculous paper work.. Obama care unfortunately is a ponzi tscheme like social security.
