has anyone used accupuncture to eliminate post knee replacement pain? Was it effective?

Because of schedueling problems, I worked my way through a chriopractor, cortisone shots, gel shots, pain meds of increasing strength, and finally turned to accupuncture and then on the advice of the MD who is the accupuncture doctor, added some physical therapy. I am not pain free. However, I am in enough less pain that I plan to continue to give this a try. My MD and my PT agree that for me it is a win win situation. If I still need TKR, I will have much stronger muscles and have a more successful rehab.
Bottom Line... for me the accupuncture and Pt have made a huge pain difference.
