This article does not tell you how terribly addictive this drug is and how bad the withdrawals from extended usage are, and how long it will take to recover from having used this drug. One doctor told me six months to recover from extended use. Another told me one week or recovery for each week you take it. In the real world, most people I have ran into that took it for extended lengths of time suffered extreme insomnia, anxiety, and many other unpleasant symptoms, for a much longer period of time.

Look at the Ambien Withdrawal and Headaches message thread to see the hell ambien makes of peoples lives, and how utterly miserable they are when they quit taking it. You can find that thread right here on topix:

People, ambien is a drug from hell. PLEASE, PLEASE DO NOT TAKE IT!!!!

i was given a 30 day script of Ambien. I was having difficulty sleeping, and Ambien was the doctors answer. One night, I dreamed I had a sore throat, and I walked into the bathroom to spray chloroseptic in my throat. I ACTUALLY WOKE UP in the bathroom, spraying minoxidil (ROGAINE) in my throat! I sleep walked into the bathroom. I was gagging on the taste. I quickly washed out my mouth and throat. Hard to get the taste of rogaine out of the mouth....that's for sure!
That was the last time I took ambien. I don't believe I have sleep walked since..........

I like Doc's story about the Rogaine, yuck. But similar things happened to me also, when I was on Ambien. It is scarey the lack of control I had over my behaviors while on Ambien. I stopped taking also.

Canada Pharmacy ONLINEMEDOX. COM will always be the best pharmacy for me, whether I order prescription or non-prescription. Never failed me in delivery and quality of products.

I have ordered prescription drugs (without a prescription) online from XTOP24 .COM about two years ago, and was pleased with the speed and quality of service.
I'm thinking of doing the same thing with my medication. The meds is expensive, but there is a generic version available overseas.
I love the idea of taking responsibility for my own health (or lack of health) and skipping the bureaucracy... to say nothing of having to drive to the doctor, wait in line, yet again, to get a prescription refilled.

I just today received my 4th from Xtop24 .COM , I think, order from them, and as always, am very happy with them! I'm a real person too, lol, I don't work for them, but I found this forum when looking for other people who take this drug. EMS shipping method, I get it in less than a week, and I swear the couple times I actually called to place an order versus online ordering, i got it quicker, like 2-3 days later. The tracking number and estimated delivery date has been 100% accurate so far, and customer service has been great. I even got a coupon for 20 bucks off of my last order through email, which I thought was an excellent thing to do for their customers! I'll continue using them as long as I have to!
