The H1N1 vacinne was not advertised in the Lowell Sun. As usual, the news in the Lowell Sun is 1-2 days late . You all should call the mayor and city counsilors of Lowell and ask them when the vaccine will be available.. THE BEST WAY IS TO GOOGLE IT
ENTER "H1N1 FLU VACINNE LOWELL MA. " Better results there than the City of Lowell and the useless LOWELL SUN

Was this clinic advertised? i read the paper everyday and I didn't see it maybe i missed it.
I received an E-mail from the city on a different topic and it included an announcement for the clinic. It is also on the city's web site

http://www.lowellma.gov/eventitems/h1n1-flu-c...

The clinic in Westford was vaccinating other at-risk people.

An additional resource for those in a high risk group

According to the City of Lowell Health Dept., yes you can. In fact, you don't even need to be married- just have her tell them that you're the baby daddy. You don't even need to live in the same house, nor do you need to be a resident of Lowell (or a legal resident of this country!). You get one of the precious flu shots that even little kids and people with asthma can't get. Isn't this city great?

My 5 year old son has asthma, and we have not been able to get him the vaccination, despite calling his Pediatrician a couple of times each week. What I don't understand is why some doctors offices have it and some don't. You are right, this is what we have coming with our Gov'ts health care plan. Anything the Gov't touches is a disaster, filled with red tape and bureaucracy.
enough, for some strange reason the vaccine isnt recomended for people with asthma, i dont know why. you should look into it. makes no sense to me.

Completely WRONG INFORMATION. Asthmatics are considered at high risk and are among the top priority for immunization.

Daily Horoscope for January 3

Aquarius

Try to avoid arguments with your family and friends. You will be less than satisfied with the way things are around you. Keep the peace with your parents. If you are working, the pressure will be on, but after hours the mood really improves! Relax and get enough rest. This will revitalize your energies and let you take advantage of your strokes of genius.
