Hi, Can you help me? I was diagnosed with ovarian failure at age 21 and the docs put me on HRT. Patches. I gained 60+ kilos in 2.5 years on this medication - 10 kilos every 6 months. During this time, I was very active, attending weight watchers and gaining weight. Diet was and is not the issue as I have always had good self control and balanced, healthy diet. Needless to say, I stopped taking the meds. 20 Years on and I STILL cannot lose the weight gained in tht period. Have been told that my estrogen levels in blood are low, but estrodial levels are extremely high. Now taking progestrogen to try o balance this out but Its been 20 years and I've tried everything. Sick of carrying this weight around and need answers. Have tried: Accupuncture, homeopathics, naturopaths, GP's, specialists, natural therapies, lymphatic drainage, and of course a healthy lifestyle but so far to no avail. Any similar experiences and/or sucess stories?
