I much sooner face any rick there may be with HRT than continue this quality of life without it,I had a complete hysterectomy in feb.2006 at that time the Dr. took my HRT from me on July st. 2006 i HAD A HEART ATTACH !! He will not give my HRT back now and my quality of life is horrible no sleep, hot flashes worse than I ever had, blooating, extreme mood swings et. etc. I as I said much prefer any ricks than live to a old age feeling like I do !!

You are extremely lucky to have a doctor who will not allow you to have HRT. It is dangerous - thank goodness for you that he doesn't just follow the advice from the drug reps in dispensing dangerous drugs - your doctor certainly can advise you to help with the symtoms you suffer. Please listen to your doctor and get the help you deserve.

HRT is not dangerous if you are taking Bio-identical hormone replacement. Not the synthetic stuff. I would rather take something made of yam or soy than with pregnant horse urine. I have been on BHRT for over 3 years and I am feeling great. Back to my old self again. I had a full hysterectomy in 2001 and the dr put me on a synthetic hormone patch that did not work. After finding a dr who knew about BHRT and starting me on that I have been feeling wonderful with no signs of CA, stroke or heart attack. They can not take my BHRT away.

I agree Glenda! BHRT is doing wonders for women. If any else would like to find a bioidentical Doctor then I suggest you take a look at this directory of over 180 bioidentical hormone doctors. You can search for them by state and zipcode. I hope this helps anyone.
