I'm not surprised that doctors found Black Cohosh ineffective against hot flashes in menopause. They don't like anything that takes business away from them.
I had pretty bad hot flashes and decided to try Black Cohosh. My hot flashes totally STOPPED.
After a while, the body gets used to it and it loses its effectiveness. You're supposed to wait 6 weeks and start again, but I didn't find it as effective the second time and my hot flashes weren't as bad any more, anyway, so I stopped using it.
I would definitely recommend it for anyone experiencing bad hot flashes...it's worth a try!
