hi, my mother is 45 and she still gets her period, on a routine check-up she got a hormone test and the OESTRADIOL result is 1918 pmoI/L and PROGESTERONE is zero nmoI/L, FSH 5.1 IU/L and LH 4.2 IU/L. the doctor said that the hormone profile is normal but i'm just wondering is the OESTRADIOL level too high ? or is it normal given her age ? because i've read somewhere that increased levels of estrogen can lead to uterine and breast cancer so i'm really worried.
