I don't understand why anyone would view a bioidentical hormone any safer than a pharmacy hormone. A hormone is a hormone, gotten from horses urine, yams or black cohosh, it is still a hormone. If our bodies change as we age to have less estrogen, and we know that adding more estrogen causes cancer, it seems ill advised to use more of a "bioidentical" hormone than you would estrodial.
