Talk about sugar coating an epidemic. Rape is one of the biggest sources of this disease. Men with guns.

If you have unprotected sex with a man that just got out of prison and thought he was celibate for the last 5 or 10 years you are living in Oz. The problem there is that even if these guys don't think its gay to bang someone in the keester if it's the only thing they can get they justify it as filling a need. Unfortunately the receiver has usually led a dangerous lifestyle in and out of prison and there you have it, HIV on the rampage.

How about these women getting one ounce of self-esteem and quit dating losers who are felons or on the "down low" with no job...I know it is slim pickings in the african-american community but better to buy a sex toy or date a fat bald white guy than hang with these losers and get AIDS.

Unfortunately, a lot of women who contracted AIDS got it from their husband who they did not KNOW was on the down low. Sometimes the first time they find out is when they actually come down with aids. And that's true for black women, white women, and women of all colors. These selfish men endanger their families all in a bid to try to fool others (and sometimes themselves) into thinking they're not gay. I don't know how they live with themselves.

Unfortunately its a basic flaw in relationships in the black community, "you don't love me unless you have sex with me", ergo, all the single parent households, not to mention aids

being on the down low might not be optional if one is incarcerated....another well kept secret in the community.
