Anterior hip replacement surgery is a procedure performed to remove a diseased or fractured part of the hip bones, specifically the ball-and-socket joints. Surgeons use this approach to access the front of the hip bone. In this manner, the pelvic muscles and blood vessels are less exposed during the surgery. This entails lesser pain, minimized bleeding tendencies, reduced duration for recovery, and improved return of range of motion.
