For those who are also considering a hip surgery, be informed that DePuy Orthopaedics, Inc.(a subsidiary company of Johnson&Johnson) has been a target for litigation because of its defective hip replacement devices. Two of these devices have been globally recalled, the ASR XL Acetabular System and the ASR Hip Resurfacing System.

Even if this Modular Dual Mobility Hip is advertised to be safer than metal-on-metal hip replacement, I hope the FDA will do a thorough examination of this hip implant because it may have similar effects with the metal hip implant. Currently, a lot of lawsuits have been filed against Johnson & Johnson, the parent company of DePuy Orthopaedics, because of their defective hip implant. In light with this topic, you may visit http://www.depuypinnaclelawsuit.com for more input.
