I am planning on getting Hip Resurfacing done on both hips or THR if thats not possible.

Has anyone gone to India or Cuba or abroad to do this?

I live most of my time in Goa, India I am 54.
I had hip problems for thirteen years while living in my birth country (UK). I was not offered replacements on the Britsh NHS as I was deemed "too young" and instead spent over a decade on strong invasive painkillers.
Two years ago I had the surgery here in Goa privately and at about a tenth of the costthan it would have been in UK. I am very happy that I had the work done here and had complete faith in my surgeon and the hospital care I recieved, and until hearing recent "poisoning" reports about metal on metal implants considered I was sorted for life. My implants are Zimmer with Duron cups and as yet I am still waiting for a reply from my surgeon about their safety.
