I would never ever go to a Tattoo Party. First you don't know the artist, his habits or if he's clean or not. Always know your artist and go to the same one. Research your artist and look at previous work and if possible talk to other people who have been tattooed by an artist that you are researching.

I am an educated woman who has tattoos. It does not make me trash. I can't say I am loaded with them just a few and they are all in places that can be covered for work or for other functions.

Lastly opinions are like assholes everyone has one!

this is just to rebutt this entire article, including Channel 2's story. the owner of Hardcore is asking anyone with questions about this to call the store directly because this person has never been employed there nor has there been any home parties affiliated with this person. again, any questions can be answered by calling Hardcore. Thank you.

Christine...I am an educated woman and own my own home, and do better than a lot of 2 income households. I got my first tatto at 40. I love it also the second one I got last year. So does the professional man in my life. The only trash with tattoos are the ones who were trash BEFORE they got them.

Also, you're not a doctor. Most doctors know punctuation and grammar.

People need to be aware of MRSA and all bloodborn diseases anytime they are in ANY facility that has blood dangers and this includes body art facilities, clinics, dentists, hospitals, E.Rs and cosmetologists.

People think they are safe in doctor offices, but the truth is they spread just as many diseases as anyone else.

I am the owner of Hardcore Tattoo and would like to clarify that this person never at any point in time worked at my shop and that I NEVER heard this guys name before today.I just spoke to the executive producer of channel 2 and he said that my shop name will be taken off the internet and that a follow up story will be aired tonight with me personaly being interviewed.Once again this person never worked at Hardcore Tattoo and anybody with any questions needs to watch the 11 o'clock news and it will all be straightened out.I have already spoken to my attourney and am presently seeking legal action against anyone who takes part in slandering my business.Sorry for the scare this has caused to any of my customers.

Actually, doctor offices spread more infections and diseases than all body art facilities. Should we avoid those facilities as well?

Patrons need to be vigilant and smart when choosing body art facilities since Erie County does such a POOR job regulating them. People also need to be vigilant and smart when choosing doctor offices because a fair portion of doctors are dirty and dangerous.

I am 40 and got my first tattoo at 35 and I have an appointment to get another one on Friday. I wouldn't call it trashy, just a mid life crisis. HAHA. People who are saying they are trashy probably can't afford to get one. So take your opinions and shove them up your A S S!!!

Like the others on here. I have tattoos and I am in noway trashy. They are pieces of art and have meaning. The ones who are hating are immature and narrow minded.
