Anytime anyone has the right to break your skin, be it at your consent or the governments, we will never be safe. Remember that your government used small pox to kill Indians to steal their lands in the name of the people. I wonder how many prisoners are given AIDS or anything else? I would be stunned to hear that no one at abu ghraib or at that concentration camp in Cuba has not "mysteriously" contracted a disease

According to the following article one doctor seems to be content in speaking for all of the VA hospitals and idiotic enough to claim patients will never be able to prove they got infected at the hospitals.

It is true any invasive procedure, even a simple blood draw can open you up to infection. When equipment is not properly sanitized big trouble can follow.

I personally stay out of the dr's office as much as possible, stay out of the hospital as much as possible for any kind of testing, I do not trust that it is totally sterile.
