Just a few tips for all you guys out there who are experiencing the same thing as I am. I have hemmeroid for 10 years now, both internal and external. For external hemmeroid, wipe clean the area, use some smoothing cream that you prefer, be it prep H, witch hazel, hemclear...etc. Then you need to lie down either on your tummy or side till you feel that the hemmeroid has shrunk and went back it. For me it usually takes about an hour plus for it to go back in. Best time to have BM is when it's after work and you are at home. If you continue to be upright and moving about, the hemmeriod will continue to hang out and cause you excruciating pain. Gravity theory. Hope this helps.

Hey guys, Day 3 of having this lovely hem, about size of grapefruit, pain was do severe had to do something about it, as the doctor I saw 2 days sgp only prescribed a useless cream. Did not work at all

Anyway, used a needle to pop it. It was really painful for couple of seconds.... Then phewwww.... What a relief.

White and pinky fluid came out, and I massaged gently around swollen area. About 5 mins later it stopped. Then I put some tissue between the cheeks and squeezed it really hard to push remaining fluids out. After changing tissue for about 15 times, I can see there is less and less fluids, horayyy~~~

At least temporarily, it has worked for me, no more bursting butthole~

Only concern is, will it come back the next day? Will let you know.

After almost three month, the hole that resulted when my thrombosed hemrhoid burst has almost closed over. I'm thrilled. If I ever have that type of hemrhoid again I will take a needle to it. Much better than ending up with a penny sized hole through the muscle.

Great result, it did not come back, still a little bit swollen and itches a little, but no pain at all

Hello everyone.
I'm hoping someone else here might be able to answer my question. I had a large external thrombosed hemorroid excised two days ago by a rectal surgeon. Was sent home with painkillers and instructions to do two or three sits baths a day. I'm still in pain and there is still a large mass where the swollen hemorroid is or was. Here's the question; will this mass diminish and realistically how long to recover. The surgeon said I could return to normal activities in a day, I think not. It's still bleeding three days later and uncomfortable.
I had a large thrombosed hemorroid complete removed 10 years ago and I don't remember a leftover large mass like this one. Ten years ago they used sutures, this one was left open.
Thanks

Went to see the doctor about my fistula/fissure that resulted from my thrombosed hemrhoid bursting. He gave me nytroglycerine ointment so the muscle could relax and give the fistula time to heal. Hope it works.

I found this blog very helpful when dealing with my ordeal.
So I am 26 weeks pregnant and having normal BMs when all the sudden a wonderfully large grape sized hemmorrhoid popped up. Super exciting. Thursday it was pretty swollen and I could see that morning what appeared to be a vein running through it. Like this thing was alive! By Thursday night I was in so much pain I was crying. I then had to explain to my husband what was going on and sent him to Walgreens for anything he could find. I'd had an internal hemi before, but nothing like this external grape sized thrombosed one. Friday I was in so much pain at work that I had to call the OB who prescribed Proctozone HC 2.5%. I hoped this was do the trick. Saturday was in a little less pain but it wasn't going down any. Fast forward to Wednesday morning and the spot on the hemi appeared to have almost come to the surface.
I couldn't resist and gave it a little squeeze. And ohh the relief I felt. Probably somewhere around 6 blood clots came out. It was the best feeling. I wore a pad for the day and called the OB. Went in for her to look at and she said to keep using the cream prescribed and tucks pads.
It's been about a week since it burst and it is def shrinking. It never filled back up. I continue to wear a panty liner because it kinda oozes a little.
Hopefully it'll shrink completely before baby comes.
I never wish an external thrombosed hemorrhoid on anyone.

NITROGLYCERINE Actually does relax the muscle. But I fear the fissure is too wide. I may have to live with it forever because surgical outcomes arr not good I hear.

Hahaha!!! Notice that all the "different" people that endorse hemclear are from Clarksville, TN?? Obviously the same person just spamming the site. Of course they don't want you to cure yourself, they have something to sell you!!!! Hahahahahah!!!!! Probably is the most useless scam product on the market!!
I noticed your comments as I was reading the posts - and out of desperation I ordered Hemclear and it did not do a thing for me. It may have helped some people but I bought several bottles and the cream and did not notice any difference.

Yes Scott, I certainly noticed that too. It's really unfortunate that someone can be so cruel. This is a great forum for us to share our experiences and hopefully help others. Sometimes all we need is encouragement because the pain is so acute we need to know it will pass. We all realize that having Hemerrhoids is not fatal, but it sure can be all consuming and downright miserable. Shame on anyone coming here to sell their snake oil!!!! Beware everyone. Sitz baths and ice cubes, and patience. This too will pass, I promise.
I appreciate all your posts - I have been suffering with hemorroids and out of desparation went to the doctor to get a referal for surgery and then started to do some homework on the effects and pain associated with surgery. I'm going to try you sitz bath, ice cube routine, Ann. Thanks for the information.

Following washing along with sufficiently numbing your piles (using 1% lidocaine together with epi to diminish bleeding), We produced a tiny incision having a # 11 edge along with removed many large clots. There was clearly very little internal bleeding along with pretty much complete reduction from the soreness. The method can be rapid along with fairly easy, so do not be frightened to get that done in case essential. Often it may be needed to seek the advice of some sort of surgeon to get them removed totally, although this really is done within anesthesia as well as having an epidural.... an urgent situation division loved ones doctor practitioner which likes her career!

External hem doesn't bled in the beginning. It could be that the external hem is starting to form and causes pain diring BM. Some internal hem may not bled due to the thicking of the vessel walls overtime or from the scarring of the previous episodes of bleedings. But they could enlarge inside the rectum during BM and causes severe discomfort. Or the pains could also be some sort of fissure since people often express glass or razor blade symptoms for fissure.

Please don't rule out the cause is the piles since there could be other problems. I think a doc visit should be made for this one.

I developed a severe case of thrombosed hemorrhoids and have been going through hell for the past year. I keep reading, trying things and am the eternal optimist as I always think it's getting better then I'm faced with the reality that it's back to square one. I've tried creams including HemClear and they didn't do anything. I watch my diet and have been taking metamucil, vitamins, etc. My case is like Ann's "all consuming" as it has taken over my life. My poor husband's tired of me walking around the house with my hand on my butt saying "my ass hurts" and with his urging I finally went to my doctor who prescribed some Proctosedyl cream and said if it didn't help she could refer me to a surgeon as a last resort. The cream has done nothing so I got a referral to see a surgeon. I started reading about the pain involved in taking that route. I can't take time off work, the sight of blood and thought of pain have me terrifed. I've read that on a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 the highest that hem surgery is a 10 and that you need the strongest pain medication possible and it still doesn't touch it and the time to heal is over a month in some cases. I have found this forum in desperation and am trying Ann's sitz bath, butt up with ice cubes, witch hazel routine. I don't have any bleeding but experience pain and pressure. There is a lot of swelling with things sticking out that will not go back in because the veins are so enlarged. I am scared and praying that this routine works. I'm waiting to hear from the surgeon so don't know how long I have to wait - hoping it's better before I get the call. I've been doing the sitz, ice thing for several days now and think there is some improvement. I'm too scared to try popping anything myself. Thanks for your honesty and posting on a subject that is difficult to talk about. I'd appreciate any additional prayers and will keep you posted as to how it's working :-)

I do think We have some sort of thrombosed hemorrhoid. It is enormous! Larger than some sort of grape as well as purple within shade. That hurts more serious when compared with anything at all We have ever experienced. We have attempted everything to generate the idea superior. Absolutely nothing is doing work! I eat fibers, get chair softeners, as well as take in a great deal of drinking water. We have acquired inside people during the past and also anal fissures, however this can be the toughest! I am possessing my own 3rd c-section within a tiny under 3 2 or 3 weeks as well as I am undecided how to handle it. Let me telephone my own OB the next day, however can everyone know very well what my own choices tend to be? Will certainly many people make a move inside the OB's company or perhaps need to post us some place else?
I am consequently dismal!!!!!

Haemorrhoids can cause rather troubling conditions and also awkward. How how piles manifests by means of inflammed arteries inside the rectal region and also internal bleeding can certainly ruin a person's self confidence and will influence it an incredibly strong level. This recommended way of remedy is usually the effective use of medical opinions, however for many who usually do not would like to holiday resort for you to health professionals and also current medication, the treatment of piles by means of pure approaches is a good solution.
