Has anyone here had any experience of Ultroid's micro-current treatment for hemorrhoids? It doesn't appear to be well known, yet. I would be very interested in hearing anyone's feedback on this procedure.

I had my first treatment today. I have a really bad case of HD. I have stage 2 ones in all four quadrants of the anus with raw skin from the leakage from the hemorrhoids.
My doctor put me on some anti-itching cream and anti fugal depositories the week before the procedure. That calmed down my rectal area and cleared up a lot of the rawness. He then had me take percaset and Valium an hour before the treatment. At the the office he applied a cream that numbed the area a bit. The procedure for the first hemorrhoid he worked on lasted 12-15 minutes. There was no pain but a feeling pressure and a dull ache. I left the office and within minutes was able to join my regular routine. I go back in two weeks to see the progress and if the hemorrhoid dis gone, he work on the next one. He said t work on more than one would extend the procedure another 12-15 minutes and that might become too uncomfortable to the patient. So far so good. |

BTW: if this procedure works like it seems, you no longer have to go through a bloody and painful operation like we have today.

Ultroid treatment is painless but not uncomfortable free since you are having an anoscope placed into your rectum that would be required for ANY of the internal hemorrhoid treament options that are available today.
Ultroid requires not nearly the precision that other office treatments of internal hemorrhoids require to have an effective clinical response. Any physician can easily become adept at this technology unlike the other options like lap banding, transanal hemorrhoidal dearterialization (THD), sclerotherapy, etc that are available. In addition, the general surgeons have made this one of their "turf wars" yet Utroid dispells the myth that even the worst grades of internal hemorrhoids ( 3 and 4) need surgical intervention eventually due to recurrence. This is simply not true with Ultroid. |

I had considered Ultroid also until I discovered some statistics that where a wake up call. 95% of sufferers can have permanent results without surgery. Only 5% of severe cases will actually need a medical procedure for permanent results. I used one of the products I found on www.hemorrhoidcures.us and haven't had a single flare up yet.

Don't know about that, I was sticking to amoils most of the time and sorted out the problem for me. Here's a review if you are interested - http://hemroidshemorrhoidscure.com/amoilsrevi...
