Oil of Oregano and H. Pylori

I'm 37-year-old male who had enjoyed a very healthy life until April '11 when I had a few days of severe nausea with the initial two days I had palpitation, confusion, and anxiety. It was such a bad feeling; I was so lost, I did not what was happening to me all of a sudden. I went to the doctor the next day, he did EKG and everything appeared normal. Since I persisted, he order blood test, urine test, and stool test. Everything came back normal, however, my doc did not test me for H. Pylori. Without any medication, I slowly started getting better and by June I pretty much was back normal again. I had good three months then in September '11 again I started those feelings back. Specially on September 22, I felt severely nauseated and same palpitation. I knew something was wrong. I went to my doc and then saw another doc for a second opinion then I was referred to GI specialist. GI doc said, you look OK, and advice to take Pepcid and said, if you want we can do an endoscopy.

I then changed my course and knew a naturopath and he did some muscle test and figured out that I had H. Pylori. He has given me Chinese Herbal medicine, Oil of Oregano. I am taking that from Sunday. So far nothing magical but I am not nauseating but I have an upset stomach. I feel hungry but I don't feel like eating. If I force myself to eat, my stomach starts gurgling and I feel the urge to go to the bathroom. I'm so confused, I am not sure how long will it take to get fully cured.

Like I stated, I had a wonderful health. Never in my life I had any GI issues. This bacteria is bad but what baffles me is that 2/3 of the world population have this but we don't have a proper cure. The standard allopathic triple or quadruple antibiotic therapy is a hit and miss with very high side effects. Plus what's horrors me so much is the link of H. Pylori with cancer.

Sorry for my rant but I just wanted to express my feelings and emotions and see if others had success with Oil of Oregano. And what's the worst that can happen if H. Pylori is not eradicated?

Hi There, I posted a link at the bottom to a different section of this forum that has quite a bit of information on h-pylori and the different methods others have tried etc. I found it helpful when I learned I had the infection and perhaps it will do the same for you. Best of luck.

Hi, I have just been diagnosed with H-Pylori. For the last two days I have investigated all that I could find on the web. I have made a decision to use Matula Herbal Formula. It appears to be expensive, but with the testimonials, I'm sure the cost will be worth it, as I know my health is.

Have you got rid of your h pylori? If so, what worked?

I had h pylori and it took 5 bottles over several weeks of 'Nature's Sunshine' brand concentrated 'Gastro Health' (60 caps). I bought one bottle at a time and was muscle tested close to the end of each bottle to determine whether I should start another bottle. My nutritionist said it typically takes 1-3 bottles, but it took me about 4.5 before I tested negative. Hope that helps. God bless.

My friend used the oregano oil for 40 days and she is cured for few years now. I bought it but kind of affraid to use it. Day after my triple therapy I took one and got very sick, i don't know if that was from side effect from antibiotics or oregano oil. I am pretty sure its antibiotics but I have doubts. I don't want to take the risk to feel like that again.

I took the matula herbal tea, it was extremely expensive, and it did not cure me, please investigate more, I think it is a rip off.

Not that there is no gut issue, but keep in mind Fukushima 3/11 - people feeling ill 4/11 onward. Those susceptible because of other health issues felt worse. Oregano is wonderful for gut issues, as well as radiation poisoning. And yes, everyone in the U.S.(and N Hemisphere) was dosed with radionuclides). Clay/zeolite detox, replace healthy flora (kefir), remineralize, use herbs like oregano.... Some overlapping protocols here.

Hi Linda how much oregano oil and how many times a day did she used it. Did she cut back sugars and starches? Did she take it with meals or before meals?

Hi, I have H. Pylori and was considering the same Formula and I agree on the cost which is pretty expensive but if you could give a review on the Matula Herbal Formula that would help me greatly in my decisions, thanks.
