One more thought:
If cranberry has anti-adhesive properties against bacterie (proven to some extent in UTI infectons), then maybe D-Mannose might also have this capability?

I have tried just pure honey for 1 year and it did not work. I am now hearing alot about 'manuka' honey with UMF of atleast 10. Soon I will try that to see its effects on h. pylori.

I agree that this is a good product - it has the abilities to heal the gut. Probably not a bad idea for those of us with hp.

Basically i suffered with bad health for a number of years and i think it was down to this dreaded H Pylori bacteria. After being tested for this bacteria i took the traditional antibiotics, and it has taken 7 months more to feel things have healed up and gone alot better. This is a combination of things i tried.

Pepto Bismol, good to soothe the stomach lining and also kills the bacteria.

Manuka Honey,+25 - has a high potency

Vitamin B complex, Vitamin C soluble
Probiotics

Coconut Water

Juiced mixed fruit and veg

Mineral Water

DGC liquioce tablets

Vitamin D

Yogurt - live bio

Honey (manuka honey) is NOT an effective method. It's quackery.

After taking antibiotics for 6 weeks, I got a bad case of H Pylori & did the triple antiobiotic therapy for H Pylori which made it worse. I then cured it within 3 weeks with these 6 natural items:

1. Mastic gum, one pill in the morning
2. A TBSP of coconut oil 3 X day ( which has monolaurin)
3. A spoon of manuka honey ( at least active # 12) 3 X day
4. A few drops of grapefruit seed extract in water 3 Xday
5. Eating a handful of broccoli sprouts which kills H Pylori
6. Taking good probiotics twice a day

Within one week, I felt 50% better and within three weeks, I was completely fine and able to eat anything, even tomatoes and chocolate. Been fine ever since. One other thing that's important to do is DON'T eat sugar/breads/pasta/fruit. Sugar feeds all bad bacteria & it's easier for these natural items to kill the H Pylori if you are not feeding it at the same time. Good luck & be well!

Lyla , I find it really interesting that you seemed to pick up H pylori after taking antibiotics because the same thing happened to me and I'm abut to start my triple therapy.

I took a course of the antibiotic tetracycline around 2 years ago and was very ill and underweight ever since , a few months ago I finally got the diagnosis of H pylori but the doctor assured me it was just a coincidence that I happened to be on antibiotics at the same time I originally started to feel ill. I disagree , I think the antibiotics were somehow the cause but it doesn't make much sense how antibiotics could cause H pylori.

Can you explain this at all ?.

I'm glad to hear you're feeling better , I'd love to try your method but mastic gum doesn't agree with me and gives me bad stomach pan.

I had h pylori for about 6 months last year and can honestly say I Have never felt so bad, so I deeply sympathise. I Have been completey free of it now for four months. I used only natural substances and diet to cure it. Cut out gluten altogether and reduce dairy and caffeine. Take 2 tablespoons of virgin coconut oil every day and mastic gum before bed. Mix olive oil with ceyenne pepper and apple cider vinegar and take a tablespoon twice a day. Use dgl liquorice before eating and take probiotics on empty tummy in mornings. I know it sounds like a lot of bother, but it works! All ingredients available on line or in shops. Good luck.

Hi

I just found out on Monday that I had H Pylori. I've suspected a bacterial overgrowth for some time and had already put myself on a strict diet removing processed foods (pasta, bread etc), supplemented with digestive enzymes and probiotics.

It is inspiring and encouraging to hear of success stories from others so it is much appreciated that some of you have shared them here including details of the anti fungal foods that you used.. thanks. Keep them coming!

I've started taking 1g mastic gum, morning and night, as well as a teaspoon of coconut oil 3 times a day, but I intend to increase this amount gradually.

I will keep you posted on how this goes in hope that it might help others.

Cheers..
