It started on a trip to Tennessee. On the bus, I had an extremely sour lime juice. After taking a few sips - I got a sharp stomach pain. I thought it was just the acid. Then as I ate other things like fast foods and whole-cooked mini chickens from the Dixie rodeo show (or whatever it was called), it started to get worse. Then after the Dollywood Theme Park trip, it became a nuisance.

I came home ignoring the pains hoping that the (acid problem) would go away - but it got worse over about two weeks.

I went to the clinic and he told me I had H-pylori after the blood test and a brief description of the symptoms I was having. Me being ignorant of what this was, I started to think I had some new rare disease or some life threatening condition that was going to permanently hospitalize me...haha
But anyways, he prescribed some pills.
I took the batch of pills. I think it was Amoxil or something like that. You know, the ones where you take them before/after meals each day (that's the cycle). But it never really made it go away. In fact, after a short period of relief, it came back - even worse.

So I went back and they gave me a second batch but these ones were new (sorry i forgot the names but I think one of the generic names was: Lanzoprasole or something like that). I started to take them but got no relief, so I just stopped. I stopped taking the prescribed medicine altogether and ignored it. I prayed and had faith that I would be healed, and it gradually went away in about 2 weeks. Now I don't have it anymore. I was to have completed the batch of pills for it to destroy the bacteria and let it gradually leave my body over a long period of time (said the doctor)- but in the case of my faith and prayer, it left in about 2 weeks with barely any of the pills taken. I was so happy to be relieved of that annoying stomach pain that felt like your stomach was being scraped, followed by a horrifying burn. But my real question would now be: Are they seriously prescribing the right thing? or do they just want me to be half-healed so I can show up again?....either way, I am free from that. By the way, it has been about a year and a half now and I never payed visit for a single internal pain ever since. The entire experience made me stop eating raw bologna, raw sausages, or anything not fully cooked.

But if you don't believe in God, I suggest you seek out some sort of optimal solution to the healing process that could have (likewise) kept you from the pills.
Maybe there are accounts of H-pylori leaving on it's own, but I have not heard of any.

I took Nexium HP7 for my triple therapy medication.

I am now suffering from what I personally believe to be gastritis and dyspepsia (delayed emptying of stomach which causes my nausea).

I know 3 people who have had H. Pylori personally, their recovery was 2-4 weeks.

I am currently 3 months post-antibiotic therapy and I still can't eat properly.

I will tell you now, the longer H. Pylori is in your system, the more damage it will do. The worse your gastritis will be and your general well-being after you eradicate it.

I believe that for every day you have a high H. Pylori count, you will take +5 extra days to recover.

I took a lot of time to treat my H. Pylori (test results take forever to get, and the GI specialists are booked out like crazy!) and I believe this is the reason why it is taking me so long to recover.

You will suffer after H. Pylori for up to a year with stomach problems. I suggest you get rid of it asap.

Do you think you got h pylori from eating raw food and also do you think eating ball park franks straight out the bag would cause h pylori. They are fully cooked, but refrigerated or frozen.
