I tried to put this on the list but it got put in with Kathys story:

I did the prevpac a couple years ago and it was horrible. I found an article in Womans World magazine page 23 of the 7/18/11 magizine that talks about coconut killing h. pylori bacteria. I have had all my prior symptoms back for at least 14 months now and I had a bag of shredded coconut in the cupboard so I thought "why not try it" certainly cant hurt as we eat it all the time. I was just AMAZED with the first teaspoon that i ate!! I still have the full bloated feeling after eating but for the last week and a half the symptoms IMMEDIATELY lessen and most time disappear completely with ingestion of coconut. May not work for everyone but you wont know till you try it and its probably already in your kitchen cupboard. Good luck and hope it helps.

I also started consuming coconut oil yesterday. I have read from several sources that it kills H Pylori. I hope it does the same for me.
I took mastic gum for 2 months but i still had the symptoms. Now am taking mastic gum, Licorice root and coconut oil. I hope it does the trick.

I too, read the article in Woman's World regarding coconut and h. pylori. After two rounds of the horrible medication to treat h.pylori in the last five years, I felt the h.pylori was back again. I had the bloating, stomach pain, discomfort after eating, all of the symptoms. In the article in WW, it mentioned that eating two coconut macaroons a day would be enough to kill the h.pylori. WOW, I WAS AMAZED. After the first day of eating the macaroons I could eat without feeling miserable or being bloated. Within a week, I noticed a visible difference in belly fat. My daughter and soninlaw, both RN's, seemed a little skeptical but I continued with the macaroons and I'm actually enjoying eating again.
