It's Not A Disease.

It seems everythign is a disease, and they only say that to scare you into taking drugs, in which the side effects are worse than the cause.

To people who don't think it's a real problem... I'm 24, fit and thin.. I was diagnosed with acid reflux disease back when I was 18. Unfortunately I inherited this stomach from my mom who inherited it from her father.... if I miss even a day of my meds, the heartburn is horrible.
I agree though that there are plenty of obese people that could adjust their diet, lose some weight and get rid of the problem...

I have always had problems with my stomach even as a child, it was something I was born with. To call people with this disease fat and lazy is bull. I know people who have this problem and they are far being fat and lazy. My dad had this and he was the most fit person I had ever known he was in fact he was an Army Ranger. It is just plain ignorance to call people with this disease fat and lazy.Just one person's opinion.
