boner scheduled 219 days off this year. Time for voters to remove teahadists that don't want to work, but want to collect their taxpayer funded paychecks and benefits.

If we closed 50% foreign soil military bases ended all police actions and wars and stopped giving money to any nation and ended war on rugs and made all drugs legal. Our nation budget would be under 500 billion a year...

Just think not one sick poor or old person would suffer from cuts.

Today, in 2014, the US federal reserve is still spending hundreds of billions of dollars a year underwriting sub-prime mortages.

Not one soldier would lose job. Just bring them home to defend the USA for a change. Could use them to round up illegals and secure borders like a military should..DEFEND ITS OWN NATION.

Both parties take care of their constituencies. Liberals try and fail to take care of the illegals and generational welfare recipients they create. I remember when clinton was President, my friends in the military were living in squalor. In Tommy Franks book "American Soldier," he said in the Carter 70s, drugs were sold openly on military bases in Germany when he took command. He piss-tested the whole base and sent MPs to raid the barracks.

Our military morale hasn't been this low since Vietnam because barock surrendered in Iraq.

I don't think this pay cut is an issue. Pensions are being cut all over the country. The crime is that the civil servants aren't sharing the pain of austerity. Municipalities are being bankrupted all over the country by pensions.

Our military is also being purged as we speak. http://www.wnd.com/2013/10/top-generals-obama...

Both the Democrats and Republicans signed the bill. So does that mean those Democrats who signed the bill don't want to work?
And you would turn down a job that paid 6 figures and gave you 219 days off?

The President signed the bill. Didn't hear too much protest about cutting military benefits from either party.
