no, they changed health insurance plans...why do you have to lie about this? if it is as bad as you say, shouldn't the facts stand on their own?

are you going to start talking about the death panels again? sheesh! what a tool...

<quoted text>One pookie, they didn't change the plans. First their plans were deemed unlawful by Obama because sixty year old men needed birth control, second then new plans were issued by companies to comply with ObamaScare, not requested, and at many times double or triple the cost of the old plan. If you think your double talk will sway anyone but the liberal garden slugs that you cater to, go for it. The are too stupid and dependent to uncle sugar to ever vote for the country, only themselves.
yes, in fact they did change plans. the old ones didn't comply with the new laws, as they knew they wouldn't and they were offered new plans. so they did not lose their insurance, as you stated.

again, why do you have to lie about this?

Cruz said he was “. . . not a fan of shutting down the government” but yet he was one of the leaders in doing just that. He held the nation hostage, his way or no way at all, resulting in what he claimed he was not a fan of. How one man was given so much power is frightening.

Sure Cruz was for shutting down the government to try to force the radical marxist socialist demorats to change the unaffordablecare obamanation debacle by refusing to fund the unaffordablecare obamanation debacle. But when the patriotic Republicans looked in the eyes of the radical marxist socialist demorats and realized that the radical marxist socialist demorats would in fact actually let the country burn down before they would make any changes to the unaffordablecare obamanation debacle, the patriotic Republicans backed down. The patriotic Republicans are the ones who love America not the radical marxist socialist demorats.
So, according to what he said, Cruz was against shutting down government before he was for it; a man with two contradictory opinions on the same subject.

The “patriotic” republicans had several years to undo the Affordable Health Care Act, yet they didn’t. Seems like the “patriotic” lackadaisical republicans had a hard time accomplishing much of anything. They are so “patriotic” they would rather harm the country, bring it to a complete standstill, embarrass us before the world as incompetent nincompoops, than do their job when they had ample opportunity. Too many of them feel “patriotic” only toward their reelection bid and ideology.

The love you profess the “patriotic” republicans have is destructive, where they would rather cut nose to spite face. That’s no kind of love, just plain-old narcissism.

<quoted text>As you dig into your Butterball with all the trimmings this Thanksgiving, remember that millions of famished schoolkids around America may be forced to forgo classic turkey — and chow down instead on vegan black-bean patties and organic locavore quinoa salad.
On Nov. 1, sizable cuts were gouged into the federal food-stamp program (or, as it’s now called, SNAP, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program), which feeds 47.6 million people, or nearly one in six Americans. In the city, 1.9 million folks get the bulk of their Jell-O and Campbell’s Soup from stamps.
But news has spread among the poor, like leafy green vegetables, that it wasn’t heartless Republicans who triggered the cuts.
Rather, some of the food-stamp cash was snatched to pay for Michelle Obama’s pet project, Let’s Move. What?
It’s come to this. Some 76 million meals a year will vanish from this city — poof!— partly because the president diverted money from SNAP to the first lady’s signature program, part of her Let’s Move anti-obesity initiative — the bean-sprout-heavy,$4.5 billion Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act.
Organic locavore quinoa salad??? How exquisitely elitist. I somehow don’t see any child who lives at poverty level (or any economic level) ever hearing of, let alone eating “organic locavore quinoa salad.”
In fact I’ve never heard of “organic locavore quinoa salad” so I looked it up. And lo and behold what pops up is an article from the New York Post. In fact, it’s word for word what you posted.

In your haste to post, you must have forgotten to credit the source of the article.

I somehow don’t think the original author knows what the heck he/she is talking about, except coming across as a snob.
