I enjoyed reading his article until the last paragraph. It was refreshing to hear the CC working as single unit to take care of county employees. BU, that last snide comment by Gothard was totally tasteless, un-professional, and un-called for.

Its a very good news for them. Increased insurance premium causes extra burden to them. A big thank to County Commissioner.

I was there but did not perceive it as a "smart" comment. It was a factual comment referencing the good news that could be passed on to employees.
