LOL...Staffers thrown under the Obamacare bus..House lawmakers have until Thursday to decide whether to designate staffers as "official" or "non-official," in order to determine whether they will keep their existing government insurance or be forced into ObamaCare.

Fox News has learned that rank-and-file members were briefed Tuesday by House Administration Committee Chairwoman Candice Miller during a closed-door meeting and informed of the Thursday deadline.

So what qualifies as an "official" staffer?

According to internal rules, House employees whose salaries are paid entirely from a "Members Representational Allowance" will be determined “official office” staff and eligible only for ObamaCare insurance through the District of Columbia-run health care exchange.

Those whose salaries are not paid entirely from the representational allowance will be considered non-official and can continue to get insurance through a standard federal plan.

Miller, R-Mich., advised the lawmakers based on guidance from the Chief Administrative Office -- the non-partisan, non-legislative office that handles business and support services for House members, officers and staff. The guidance is based on Obama administration-issued regulations on “the eligibility of certain House employees” to continue to get health insurance through the Federal Employees Health Benefits Program, following ObamaCare being signed into law, according to a CAO document obtained by Fox News.

“This is a really good way to start a civil war,” a Republican lawmaker told Fox News.

The determination is based on a staffer’s pay as of Oct. 15, and the CAO will make the determination if lawmakers do not submit the paperwork by 5 p.m. Thursday.

Right now, all congressional employees are eligible for the employer-contribution for health care -- a perk Republicans tried to eliminate during the recent partial government shutdown for those who would end up on the exchanges.

Hillary will pretend she has Grandmother duties to attend to. She doesn't dare declare for President. The republicans will make Benghazi a daily star attraction for the entire run. Every time she is in public someone will question her, and remind her of her total incompetence. She killed Ambassador Stevens with her reticence as sure as if she had put a gun to his head.

I accept your apology.
I can't be responsible for your ignorance and I certainly won't apologize for it.......but I certainly can see how easy it is to manipulate the stupid.

You still can't explain how doctors are getting rebates on prescriptions. You can only repeat what you here. Generics are always checked if they are available so your rants are sensless AND most insurance policies will only pay for a generic if it is available.

Rewind.... Romney for President- Romney, who as the GOP's 2012 presidential nominee ran in part on repealing ObamaCare, emerged from his post-election private life to counter the White House message.

“In the years since the Massachusetts health care law went into effect nothing has changed my view that a plan crafted to fit the unique circumstances of a single state should not be grafted onto the entire country,” he tweeted.“Beyond that, had President Obama actually learned the lessons of Massachusetts health care, millions of Americans would not lose the insurance they were promised they could keep, millions more would not see their premiums skyrocket, and the installation of the program would not have been a frustrating embarrassment.

“Health reform is best crafted by states with bipartisan support and input from its employers, as we did, without raising taxes, and by carefully phasing it in to avoid the type of disruptions we are seeing nationally.”

Not one penny actually spent on healthcare...SHOCKING!!!!(CBS News) HealthCare.gov , the federal Obamacare website, isn't the only website with issues following the rollout of the Affordable Care Act. There are also problems in the states that set up their own websites using taxpayer dollars.

Sources tell CBS News that the 15 states that have set up their own insurance exchanges used more than $1 billion to pay for their own Obamacare websites. That huge price tag, CBS News' Jan Crawford reported on "CBS This Morning," is being paid for by the federal government -- courtesy of taxpayers -- and some of these websites have also struggled to get off the ground.

The Benghazi faux issue will be forever your smash and bash with Hillary - just like the nonsense you continue to throw out at this president. It will go on ad nauseum for the the next two years and beyond for the red meat folks like you. That is a given.

To be constructive here, catboy:

"You don't like a particular policy or a particular president? Then argue for your position. Go out there and win an election," (this two term President!)

Fox News contributor Charles Krauthammer told Megyn Kelly Wednesday on “The Kelly File” that if ObamaCare self-destructs, it could set back American liberalism for at least a decade.

Krauthammer said that if the problems plaguing the health care law eventually lead to its end, Obama's lame-duck status would not be the liberals’ only problem.

“I would say that what’s really at stake here, is that if this thing really goes south, if ObamaCare truly self-destructs, I don’t know that it’s certain but I would say right now it is more than likely, it would really set back American liberalism for a decade at least,” he said.

Krauthammer explained that he believes ObamaCare is the “completion of the entitlement state” that began with the New Deal and the Great Society. If ObamaCare were to collapse, he said, it would “discredit the entire enterprise of the expansion of government, which is at the heart of ‘Obama-ism.’”

“That’s why I think the liberals are running scared,” he said.“It’s not just one election, it’s the whole ideology that the government knows best...” I believe longer than a decade, a whole generation.

There are several more hearings on Benghazi scheduled so I don't think It is a non issue. It took Nixon lying to the people over, and over 3 years to schedule his likely impeachment if he didn't retire so we are patient. All politicians lie, but you cannot put up with constant lying. The American people deserve better.

That's President Obama you anti-American pos.

So in your isolated case of getting generic drugs, ALL 306 million Americans have the exact same doctor as you, so I must be lying?

It's not an isolated case....it's the standard. The insured pay less out of pocket for generics which is why doctors check the box. You're not very bright which explains why you have jumped on the oscumma train to hell...like a sheeple to the slaughter. Unfortunately, the demoncrats are taking everyone with them until our American heros can derail at least some of the cars and save those who want to be saved.

The Republicans in 2003 really put the train in motion to derail with their Medicare Part D Drug entitltement that was never funded which is why I don't trust the Republicans either and according to the Congressional Budget Office…the unfunded drug benefit Medicare Part D added $15.5 trillion (in present value terms) to the US Federal Deficit according to Medicare’s trustees which is one of the reasons why Obamacare is so expensive to because Obamacare is to offset the GOP's Medicare Part D Entitlement Program.

You do realize the baby boomers are bankrupting Medicare which is why the govt. had NO business in the healthcare business in the first place. This is just the beginning which is why anyone with the slightest sense would want oscumma care to end.

Seems to me if you are truly concerned about Medicare, you would do whatever it takes to stop oscummacare because this drug entitlement is just a skip in the park compared to what this lying pos prez wants to do to Americans. It's worth teaming up with anyone and everyone in order to get govt. out of the healthcare business unless you want to sabotage that effort by voting for a party that will guarantee another loss to the demoncrats.

One clever lib strategy: sending out their faux liberatarian minions to split the Republican party so they can place their inferior candidate in office. I predict they will be successful and we will end up with another liberal pos in charge.

I am for the elimination of all social programs since SCOTUS ruled there is no rights to them which Flemming Vs Nestor in 1960 set the standard since they are all based on a tax and the problem would be solved.

The biggest mistake these jackasses made was in not pre testing this whole operation 6 or 8 months ago, and working out the kinks before it was launched. If that was not possible it should have been extended for a year. This way the Democrats, who were the only ones that voted for it, look totally stupid. They couldn't look any dumber, and now this problem will be front, and center all during the election cycle. It couldn't come at a worst time

You are DAMN right you are going to end up with another liberal democrat in the White House and more dems in Congress.

You know why?

Read your hateful, caustic, anti-American, traitor, vile, misogynist, racist post and while you are mouthing the words, be sure to take them in. Really listen to YOURSELF.

This is why republican'ts like you will continue your downward spiral. You are the party with NO pla,n other than to say NO to everything. Good luck with that, zippy.

GDAMNIT your ignorance is boundless.

Americans used to live to 68. Now they live to 80-90-100. It's not one group that is bankrupting Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security but it sure as hell isn't the baby boomers alone. People are living longer and Congress has tapped into those accounts and used the money elsewhere. DUH!!!!!!!!!!1

The Democrats are imploding. because of the way they pushed the Obamacare thing through on Christmas Eve for God's sake. It wasn't ready then, isn't ready now, and likely won't be ready before November 2016. They were full of too much Christmas cheer, but now have to sober up, and face what they have done. So funny. This is the best President the Democrats ever gave the Republicans.
