The federal income tax form is nothing but an update for your government file. It updates or verifies your address, phone number, place of employment let alone your finances. Now they will get your health care information and/or where to get it.

People don't realize what they already give the government. Especially if they take itemized deductions. But again now it's your health care information.

We saw over the last how government agencies handle/treat secret and private information. Once it's in government hands it's out there for abuse and/or legal challenges.
