I favor "Obamacare" as a vast improvement over our previous health care system known for its exclusions and outrageous premiums. But I have met quite a few people, including the well-educated, who are at a loss for navigating through the application process.
If the administration doesn't find a way to simplify it, and soon, shame on them.

<quoted text>As the 50th anniversary of John F. Kennedy’s assassination approaches next month, polling released Tuesday as part of a new book about Kennedy’s legacy shows that he remains one of the most highly rated presidents of the past 50 years.
Asked to rate all the presidents from 1950-2000 on a scale of 0 to 10, Kennedy scored the highest, at 7.6. He was followed by Ronald Reagan, at 6.9, Dwight Eisenhower, at 6.8, and Bill Clinton, at 6.7. None of the other presidents scored above a 5.0.
Nevertheless, Kennedy would not be Americans’ first choice to bring back as the next president, if any former leader alive or dead could serve again. Asked who they would most want to bring back, 24 percent of adults chose Reagan, 21 percent chose Clinton and 13 percent chose Kennedy. Abraham Lincoln was next, at 9 percent. Obama a no show.

Obama is still in office, Le Bozo. He still has much to accomplish. Let's see how history rates him.

With regard to those ratings, any poll that rates Ronald Reagan over Abraham Lincoln should be met with bursts of laughter.

Maybe you obey the voices of others; I don't. Obama's "godlike status" is your perception, not mine. It's his humanity that I admire.

You're right about one thing though. God's "golden tablets" wouldn't impress me, unless I could cash them in.

The Kelly File’ ratings surge is legit: Nielsen
MSNBC questioned its competitor’s 100% ratings increase but the further investigation shows Fox’s Megyn Kelly did crush MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow.

Humanity????? LOL!!! The humanity of forcing an agenda that the nation can ill afford? The humanity of increasing taxes and no SS increases his first 2 years in office? The humanity of pushing the gas exploration and fracking that led to people in the center of my state having their water wells contaminated to the point of having to leave their homes? THAT kind of humanity? The humanity of wanting an airstrike on Syria that would have led to more deaths over there in that sandpit? The humanity he showed to the 4 men of honor killed in Benghazi? You make me sick!

Perhaps you are unaware that existing policies (pre-Obamacare) that people had, need to be revised to be compliant with Obamacare.

With the additional Obamacare requirements that need to be included in the insurance coverage, like providing free birth control and free mamograms and other 'preventative' testing, rates will need to be increased to cover these expenses that insurance companies will have to fully cover.

Additionally, affordable insurance doesn't mean affordable care. Even if, with subsidies, a poor person will have low cost INSURANCE, but will they have money to pay down a HIGH DEDUCTIBLE and co-pays? Insurance doesn't pay out until the deductibles are satisfied.

This is something that negatively impacts the people most in need of affordable health CARE.

Wrong interpretation, CBASS. Medicare also had problems getting off the ground. Today, few would criticize its success.
The Affordable Care Act is a good program, for many reasons. Its implementation has some temporary rough edges, which will be resolved.

One has to wonder why people like you are so anxious for "Obamacare" to fail. It certainly can't be because you can pinpoint what is wrong with it. Could it be because President Obama has the temerity to push for this program's success while black?

A group formed from the ruins of ACORN is hard at work signing people up for ObamaCare, and may be collecting taxpayer cash for their work despite Congress' efforts to cut the organization and its affiliates off from government funding, a watchdog group charged.

The United Labor Unions Council Local 100, a New Orleans-based nonprofit, announced last month it would take part in a multi-state "navigator" drive to help people enroll in President Obama's health care plan. The labor council was established by ACORN founder Wade Rathke after his larger group was broken up amid scandal in 2009 and banned from receiving taxpayer funds.

“At a time when our government has ceased functioning due to an appropriations gap, it is ironic that America’s tax dollars are being doled out to an entity whose poor stewardship of our funds was well-established by Congress,” said Dan Epstein, executive director of Cause of Action, a nonpartisan watchdog group based in Washington.

I remember the "Medicare" my grandparents had, it covered their needs without leaving a doughnut hole. The very doughnut hole that is going to be the demise of many of folks on the ACA. Foresight beats hindsight hands down. You are lacking the foresight, along with so many like you. If a white president had pushed this BS ACA, I would still be against it. It's not about medical care, it's about insurance. Insurance is no guarantee of payment to the care-giver. I'll fund mine and you fund yours. That's fair.
