Clearly, Obama will lose his votes if he tries to go to war on his failed Obama care that no American except the food stamp liberal desire because they think it will be free for liberals only.
Here are a few stats to stick in your lying craw.

Have ever used food stamps:
- Democrat..........22%
- Republican/Independent........ 27%

Among users of food stamps:
- conservative..........17%
- moderate..........17%
- liberal..........17%

Also Jeff, it might interest you to know that more food stamps were given out under Bush than Obama.

But don't let any of this intrude on your bigoted and overblown barrel of bullshit.

Your link says nothing specific. Here are a couple of specifics:

% increase in food stamp recipients -
-under Bush - 93%
-under Obama - 39%

Again, your link does nothing to dispute the numbers I have cited. Moreover, your "finding" is dated Sep. 4, 2012. Since then, the economy has shown improvement, and the growth of food stamp recipients has slowed. Anymore tricks to try to change the truth?

Besides, Soupy never lied.

Nothing to dispute eh?

Well, I see you do democrat math quite well! I admire your noble effort to defend Obama by saying growth has slowed. Your percentages were not correct and the number of users under Obama has grown nicely and still is growing. I am not sure if the numbers include illegals.
.
By the way, Bush started with far lower numbers and left with 1/2 the numbers Barack has.

Since you won't accept this Democrat's numbers, I should probably give you the brush-off, but I'll address your last sentence.

American People receiving food stamps (in millions):
- 2001 .......... 17.32
- 2009 .......... 33.49

Increase under Bush 2001-2009 ...93.4%.

If that weren't enough, Bush broke our economy, thus causing further increases in the people needing food stamps.

Note: I don't blame all Republicans for rejecting the truth. I blame just you.

I see you can't read, I understand. I also understand why you have to hide behind percentages instead of actual count. If 1 person was on food stamps when Bush entered office and 2 were on food stamps when Bush left office, Bush had a 100% increase in food stamp usage. I gave you actual numbers and Barack's isn't looking good and far worse than Bush's even 5 years into office. Imagine how bad the numbers would look if we didn't have this wheels on fire economic recovery.
.
Bush wrecked the economy? That ignores the complexity of what happened and once again, runs cover for the Democrat Party participation in the collapse*. Rick Santorum liked to point out how a Black Democrat Senator from Illinois worked to block some reforms the Republicans were trying to put into place as to apply the brakes on the run away housing market.
.
My favorite video bit is Barney Frank (D-MA) at one hearing saying Problems? I do not see any problems.
.
I think you along with Marine Corp Pat are in strong competition to become the doorman at the Barack Obama Presidential Library*. May the best man win!

You're clearly driven by your biased programming. Instead of talking numbers, try to comprehend the following:

.Despite your equivocating, the Bush administration brought our economy to its knees. He (or those who thought for him) nearly caused a worldwide depression.

.Bush left us with a high level of unemployment, 7.8 and skyrocketing. This was a major cause of the continued increase in people needing food stamps.

.Obama was able to stop Bush's bumbling from becoming a true depression. However, the hole dug by Bush turned out to be even far deeper than any of us suspected, so digging our way out has been slow and painful.

.As a result, food stamp needs have grown larger, since creating new jobs has been a struggle. This jobs problem has been further exacerbated by congressional Republicans stifling attempts to invest in our economy and needed new jobs.

.We just learned that because of food stamps, 4,000,000 people have been able to get off the poverty rolls. More opportunities for a decent life will reduce the number of those receiving food stamps.

You get an "A" for Daily Kos robo repeating.
.
If Obama saved the economy in 2009, then you must give due to George Bush who helped lay out the ground work for the recovery.
.
Just history ;)
.
You mean the Republicans passed laws that said you are not permitted to invest in the economy? This is news to me. China just did a major investment in the US economy. I guess they broke the law.
.
The issues with the economy are more complex than the simple platitudes you repeat off of left wing websites. Having a president that is clueless about economics doesn't help.
.
In reality, you can not fully blame George Bush nor can you fully blame Barack Obama. The world has changed and the US hasn't adapted well. We have a political leadership that goes around in circles and let's debt pile up while promoting FDR's old pump priming economic theories. They didn't work well for FDR and they'll work very poorly now and more than likely will benefit China, South Korea and Japan while not helping the US much, just leaving an even larger public debt.
