That is, 6 Million Freeloaders who will now pay a small portiion of what they cost the rest of us.

The payment in lieu should be $6,000, not $1,200.

Reality, pal. I've seen my own health insurance cover less and less for the same money because the FREELOADERS are sticking the hospitals, and they are laying the losses off on thse woth insurance.

Also, three hospitals in my area have gone bankrupt because they could not lay off enough loss to cover thier expenses. REALITY.

I am sick and tired of having to suport bums and FREELOADERS who spend money on new cars, while I'm still driving a 2000 Caravan with 170K miles. REALITY,pal.

Why don't I buy a new car?
Why am I driving a 13 year old heap with broken AC?
I'm responsible. I have health insurance. Can't do both.

Go spin yourself into a pile of dog waste.

Again, you play the victim. Its no ones fault that you can't manage your money well enough to buy a new car, or get current vehicle fixed, but your own.

Try again

I think I got it right the first time.

You must be a FREELOADER BUM, to worry about paying only $1,200/year.

Why don't you spent less on new cars and vacations, step up and be a man, and support yourself instead of expecting me to pay for you?

I wish you had to pay $12,000 or more. Then I'd see you change your tune.

And just what are you, still supporting Romney?
Change your name from 'gossamer" to 'albatross.'
Or, perhaps, HINDENBERG.
Liberals like Mr Bill spin so much they invalidate themselves in the next sentence, just like Barack and the 'professional media'.

It's their NEW NORMAL.

Romney's will have to fumigate the WH of its 4 years of off putting gas. So will Americans of Mr Bill's BS.

You are a freeloader bum too, I see.

The real distribution (I suoppose you are talking wealth) was set up by the southern and western senators and congressmen when they typically served for 30-50 years, and controlled all of the committee chairs.
They moved much federal wealth (redistribution) to their own states, and there it remains, so that we now have 20 states supporting 50 "WELFARE STATES."
Interestingly, the worst welfare states are deepest in the tea-bag movement.

I pay full boat for my family's insurance, haven't taken a vacation since Christmas 2009. I also have a 2001 Taurus with 196,000 mi that I manage to keep repaired without bitching about it on Topic and a 2009 F-150 that I'm in the process of selling to cut down on expenses. Both my wife & I work, take care of our kids (and all their friends) on about 50,000/year gross.

Its called money management. You should try it.

Bill is like most liberals on here. They love the idea of the second black president, and purport to support every initiative he represents because to not would be racist or someshit. When the policies actually become reality, then Bill and his ilk turn on those who, while trying to make ends meet, must prioritize. Something the administration badgers Americans to do but refuses to do itself. All through the 90's, in my twenties, I did not have health insurance. I never went to the emergency room, if I was sick I went to the out patient clinic on HWY 60 in Brandon and paid cash. According to the CBO I would have to pay at least a 1200 dollar fine for self pay, not causing any burden to the tax payer.

Oh and you should read pg 17; fig. 1.7 of your little PDF file. 7 out of the top 10 states that received the most in federal expenditures are not from the South as you have posted so condescendingly on other threads here on Topix. In fact States such as Texas, Florida & Georgia receive well below the national average.

So, then, why would you object to the FREELOADERS who have bankrupted our hospitals, and caused our health insurance to be 20% higher, paying a fee for continuing to FREELOAD?

Good for you for working, supporting the freeloaders, and not griping; but my response was to your gripes, which I suppose you forgot already, being so busy working and fixing your car.

I say screw the FREELOADERS, and I thinkl you are one, making up your circumstances to sound like a real solid citizen. Let the FREELOADERS pay something, and that something is not nearly enough.

And if you defend the FREEOADERS, you are still a fFREELOADER in my book.

Go wash youk KKK sheet. You got skid-marks on the back, and knee stains on the front.

And, when your kid (and I pray this never happens to you) gets Leukemia, you will not bring her out to the woods to die. You will show up and expect her to be cured, for far more than you can pay at the Brandon highway clinic.
You didnt build that

6 million people who can't afford health insurance will have to pay 8 BILLION in tax penalties. But that's just at first. It gets worse and more expensive over time.

The phenomenal advancements in the treatment and remissions of childhood cancers come from St. Judes' research and outreach in Memphis, TN and its affiliates. It is charity based. Children of any economic status are treated and cured. The best research and treatment comes from these charity based institutions.

Leftists are completely out of touch. "You didn't build that" simply doesn't apply. The limited insight of Leftists will destroy the outreach and successes of Christian charities worldwide.

No, I have insurance. I will not load myself on others. I was merely pointing out that when I was a young man and didn't need insurance I didn't burden the people either. What's the matter with that? But face it. The fact that you just likened me to the KKK, means race is very much on your mind

I don't care what you believe- you don't make sound reasoned arguments, for a guy who says he's "a real conservative".

This is a ideological principal we're discussing. We have freedom of choice in this country. If I'm single and decide to pay my own way for the medical services I receive, that is my choice. And I did. When I got married, I decided to get a job that provided insurance- a reasonable choice. In 2011 when I lost my job (thanks Obama) I still choose to accept a job paying $30K per year less, and pay for my own insurance.

What I don't have is the choice to not pay for those mentioned above. You'll note that the IRS told congress this week that they have no intention of enforcing the $1200 tax penalty. So they're still going to freeload and continue to make poor choices.

A better solution would have been to introduce portability which would have promoted competition in the insurance market place to drive down costs. Add a little regulation in so that pre existing conditions are covered, and you have more people with insurance.

But it was good to read in your opening post that you agree with Mitt Romney about the 47%- you know since most of those middle class people who don't have insurance are freeloaders and probably fall into that category.

6M to be fined under new health law

Fined?

Shouldn't that be 'taxed'?

Well, perhaps, in your beknighted mind, the 'leftists' caused the cancers with some variation of 'posession.'

Go smack yourself in the head. HARD.

No, it is a fine.

Justice Roberts called it a tax for his political reasons; but it only aplies to the FREELOADERS.

Since you are a FREELOADER, I'm glad you'll get hit with it.
